I strongly recommend this place - If you want to try really!!! Really perfect home style Cretan food you need to visit this place. Nicos is amazing Chef and very nice person- thanks for making this trip more memorable. The food was amazing, we tried almost everything from the menu, My favorite was Musaka, also we tried meatballs and they were tender and juicy. souvlaki, lamb and pork chop - 10/10. appetizers- Goat cheese 🧀 something I want at home every day, dzadziki, some pea greek “hummus”, village sausage, all of them where great. Desserts - I am not in a desserts much but some cheese pie with honey - i want recipe please )) Service was perfect ❤️ all these kind small presents like Raki, or aperol shot, or some soufflé…

I travel 15 years to nea hora and here is my favourite place. The place is very nice furnished and the owners Dimitri and Eva are very friendly. They have from breakfast to lunch a huge range. But now it`s a café-restaurant with homemade Dinner from the best cook Nico. I follow him many years and here is my secret tip, if looking for fresh traditional food with fantastic tasting with the best ingredients – try Nicos Dinner and I am sure you will enjoy it. This is a great little spot to eat! Me and my wife thought of trying the breakfast one time but was so delicious that we kept coming back day after day.

A couple of days before our vacation drew to a close, we thought: Might as well try the dinner as well.

And are we glad we did! Their cook is very skilled at creating scrumtious meals. He even takes orders at your table. So delicious in fact, that we went there two nights in a row. One time I had slow cooked pork with homemade sauce. And tonight, one of the best homemade meatballs with pasta I've ever had.

And the people working there, You ask? Very friendly and they're more than up to striking up a conversation, if You'd like.
