I should give a lower rating because the service most of the time really is that bad but since the taste of the baklava is too good to give any less here are the 4 stars. A little advice to the young lady working here Thursday afternoon who seems annoyed that anyone would have the nerve to frequent her place of employment: find a new job or take acting classes because you don't belong in a service job. Another piece of advice to the owners: how about making a price per piece since you get tourists and maybe single people who, like me, don't need a kilo of sweets, just one or two. Fortunately for me, the unpleasant grimace that usually greets me when I enter keeps me from coming back ever again which is good for my waistline....

I discovered this bakery while walking around as it's near our hotel and I am so glad I found it! I came back multiple times during our stay. The pistachio baklava is outstanding and had me totally hooked! Got a chance to briefly talk with someone who appeared to be the manager (Anastasia). She was so gracious and friendly. She made me feel so welcomed to her store. My only regret is that I have to return home and leave this little jewel. Read moreWe can honestly recommend the baklava from this shop but unfortunately nothing else from this place. They use a diploma cream in every cake but just change the taste. The cream is not real cream but a use of creams with gelatine hence the ‘bounce’ feel when I tried the eclairs. The tart unfortunately I could not eat as the cream again was unpleasant.
