Prokomenes — Restaurant in Municipality of Glyfada

A classic lunch staple in the downtown area of Glyfada . They offer honest traditional home cooked meals focusing on “ladera” foods .

I have eaten lunch here dozens of times over the years . The food is displayed in a glass casing so that you can walk up and decide what to order . Gentleman behind the glass is always very helpful and pleasantly explain each dish .

You can mix and match your main entree with a variety of sides including potatoes , rice , spaghetti etc…

This place gets busy during lunch so arrive early .

Amazing food! We are visiting family and wanted to eat homey food but we couldn't decide what ( family of 5). It was great! We had gemista(stuffed tomatoes with rice), gigantes(lima beans) and chickpeas, chicken soup(with vegetables not avgolemono) meatballs in the oven snitsel and pastitsio. By far one of the best pastitsios gigantes and revithia we ever had but all the rest was very fresh and delicious.
