Garlic bread was amazing really nice. Carbonara was super creamy slightly bland if I'm honest but was ok. Pizza was one of those cheap nasty presents bought bases was really really bad. Now the service was utter rubbish no empty glasses taken at all, waited for one coke for 10min and even had to ask another waiter in the end. I asked for the bill waited 20min the table next to us finished and asked for thier bill and got it in 3mins and ours was no where to be seen so went up to the counter and asked for our bill to be told I don't even no what table your at I pointed and said that on thier and I had been waiting 20min and the table next to us got theirs in 3min to be told not to worry and be calm to which I said ive been waiting 20min for a bill got asked if I would like so shots ofc I said no just my bill. Shocking absolutely gobsmacked at this place will never ever eat...

100% Greece. Marea Restaurant is a family-led Restaurant with the most delicious food. All cooked with love. We recommend: Saganaki and gigantes (Giant beans) as starters. Stifado and pork chops with pepper Sauce as main dish. Also the vegetarian Pasta. Dessert: Frygania. Enjoy! Special Advise: Ask for "Hot (=spicy) Feta" - this year it is on the menu again and the best starter beside Saganaki (Zakynthian cheese) and Giant Beans :-)

Excellent food, totally a good idea for trying the local cuisine! Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff! Our favorite for three nights in alykes! A hotspot for next year for sure and for anyone that wants to try real Greek food in affordable prices! . UPDATE 26/6/2025 We’ve been visiting every year for the past five years.
