Perfecto! The HBlue Hotel is much loved and highly recommend for an exquisite time. The location is close to town-near local and fancy restaurants, tourist activities like The Museo De La Ballenas y Ciencias, and the beach. Free WiFi, hot water, sterile bathrooms, and nice firm beds with clean blankets are always something to look for when finding a hotel in Baja, which is a given here. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and go above and beyond standards. No matter what department-at front desk, in the restaurant, the cleaning and maintenance department, all the staff is joyful and pleasant which makes the stay so welcoming and wanting to return. The attention to detail in the rooms with the good hand soap and lotion, water, extra strong and quality coffee, work space, and plenty of storage create the perfect place for residing. The best part of this stay is watching the sunset on the rooftop by the (clean) pool (with showers), restaurant/bar, and shaded seating sections. The morning welcomes you with a complementary breakfast including a high quality, full course meal, and attentive staff to meet all your wishes and more. Stop the search and come enjoy for yourself! Worth every peso.

Fantastic find! The price of this hotel is what originally caught our eye but we got so much for what we paid. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. (I think they are doubles...not huge) The central stairs made them fun to use instead of the elevator. The most stunning part of this hotel is the rooftop balcony and pool. The view is beautiful especially at sunset. The free breakfast was on this balcony as well- what a perfect way to wake up! One morning there was the most incredible pineapple juice we’d ever had. They also offer meals and drinks in the evening for purchase. I did notice that had our children been younger, there are some unsafe areas on the top floors where a young toddler could actually fall and die if parents were not paying attention. Something to note if planning to stay here with young kids, maybe book a room on the bottom floor or be extra watchful:) Very pleased with this hotel, will recommend to friends. A 10 minute walk to Malecón and all the downtown. Many places to eat close by as well.

We paid $ 75 US for the night and it was well worth it. It’s a cute smaller size hotel completely updated with a beautiful modern style feel. We received 2 free drink vouchers and a hot breakfast from restaurant on the roof. Rooms were beautifully clean and updated. Parking is free but limited in space and it’s best suited to smaller vehicles however you can park on the street w/o any concern. Only complaint is they will only give you 1 key card and if you want another they charge 50 pesos. Keep in mind a hotel like this would typically normally cost 2 or 3 times as much if not even more if it was in the states or in another more popular tourist destination so at this price it’s a real steal when you take that into consideration!! I would highly recommend this hotel if you want the hint of luxury but without the cost of it.

Very nice hotel away from the Malecon. Short walk to all the good stuff in town. Staff was responsive and helpful. Beautiful rooftop terrace with a bar, restaurant, and small pool. Great spot to catch some rays and have some cheap cocktails. It was never busy on the terrace while we were there. The only downsides were that there are some noisy neighbors. One neighbor has no fewer than 4 roosters. It also sounds like there's an animal shelter nearby. Lots of dogs barking and howling at all hours of the night. Bring earplugs. Hotel was designed with energy efficiency in mind. Lighting in the room is all LED and very dim. We found ourselves using our cellphone flashlights often.

I had a wonderful stay! My room was fabulous. The bed was comfortable. The amenities were great. The restaurant upstairs was wonderful for dinner, drinks and lunch! (The breakfast was just ok) The only other con was how much outside noise I could hear. There's a lot of dogs nearby that bark a LOT! Also, my room was directly below the restaurant, so I could hear everything up there, from chairs pushed in/out to clanking of pots/pans. The pool and view are incredible and the staff was very helpful. Overall I had a great stay and would come back, I'd just ask for a different room!
