One of the most modern spa complexes in Hungary On the first floor there is a relaxation room (baby-mom room) and a playroom for the little ones The (sun)beds are available for free for the bathing guests both inside and outside. There are plenty of them, both inside and outside.
_ The lockers were quite run-down; there was no mandrel bar to hang your hanger on, no bottom shelf to put your shoes under. Unfortunately, there was no lifeguard to supervise the relaxation pool, so there were lots of kids splashing around and making noise, so relaxing in the pool was impossible. They tried to make the pools accessible, for example, the footwashers were not accessible by stairs, but there was hardly any water in them, so everyone was walking around the 'pool area' with dirty feet and slippers. As there are no footwashers at the entrance to the pools, the water in the pools was quite dirty. There are several bridges in the pool area, one side of which has steps, and they are too steep, making it difficult to cross with wet feet in slippers, and even more difficult or impossible for a person with a pushchair or wheelchair or cane. There is no drinking fountain anywhere on the premises except in the wellness area No centrifuge to spin out rinsed swimsuits after a swim The head of the shower is very badly positioned, you have to stand by the curtain, which then sticks to your body. You have to keep pressing the button with one hand to get the water to come out. There are not enough hairdryers and mirrors, and some places don't even have mirrors near the hairdryer Parking in front of the building is...
Read moreI visited with my family over the weekend. When we arrived in the morning, the parking lot was spacious and comfortable. However, since the parking lot entrance is shared with the hotel entrance, if you’re not focused, you might accidentally enter the hotel parking lot. You’ll need to wait for the parking attendant at the entrance, who will provide a parking pass for you to use.
The indoor facilities were clean, and the water in the pool was well-maintained. I’m not sure if it was just on the day I visited, but most outdoor pools were unavailable except for the indoor pool. (It seemed that only one outdoor pool operates in winter.) Those looking for an outdoor heated pool may be disappointed.
For some reason, cold air from outside continuously entered the indoor areas, especially near the restaurant. This made it quite chilly while waiting in line for lunch after swimming.
The sauna facilities were pleasant, and the aroma of the oils was very satisfying. However, the space for sauna experiences seemed too small to accommodate many people comfortably.
You can bring your parking ticket and pay for it when you...
Read moreA large water park with plenty of attractions, not just in the water. The whole complex is really big, with lots of pools both indoors and outdoors. Some of them are heated, usually taken over by retirees.
Outside you’ll find a playground, a volleyball court, several bars, and of course water slides. Unfortunately, by September some of the attractions are already closed.
The aquapark was built in the early 2000s, and sadly many elements show their age. Paint is peeling or rusting off the railings, the slides are faded from the sun and covered with a strange coating. The whole place could really use some renovation, though given its size, maybe that’s just not feasible.
What really surprised me was that the main sports pool hadn’t been cleaned properly – the bottom was dirty with sand and small stones. They should definitely invest in pool vacuums, because the water itself was actually very clean.
Overall, it’s a place with great potential. If managed well and combined with the nearby hotel, it could easily become a more luxurious...
