Virupapura Gaddi — Attraction in Karnataka

Virupura Gaddi or Hippie Bazaar Market or Hippie island sunset point, all closed down by Government after Mar 2024. Kindly don't try to visit this place with family. We were looking for best shopping experience near Hippie Island as we found few website mentioning Hippie market was the best nearby. But once tried to visit on 1st Nov 2024, we found that no proper road is there.

Existing road is best suited for hiking or trekking but not recommended.

Our car got stuck in boulders and there was Noone to help.

Hippie island. Reach here before 6pm to take room or it'll be difficult. Both sides of the street are filled with shacks inside of which are just like those in Goa or Gokarna.
