OLD CHILL OUT Ganesh RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Karnataka

This cafe is located at the end of the road on the ground floor there is one more chill out cafe nearby on the first floor so mentioning it first so nobody gets to the different place than expected like i did.

So I went to this place for dinner, they have mattress seating and table seating options.

The place is clean and has a good ambience. They have a variety of cuisine in their menu, we ordered Peri peri cheese fries - good Honey chilli potato - did not like it much Veg Fried rice - ok ok, it was mostly all rice and very very few veggies Bruschetta - i can say it was the Indian version of bruschetta, good at taste but not like bruschetta. Banana Nutella pancake - pancake was in dosa style instead of masala it had banana and Nutella in it, taste was good just different presentation.

They were short on staff the time we visited, and i don't think hampi is a place where cafe culture is common but this place is doing good. There are some improvements that can be done like increasing the staff so waiting time gets reduced or they can have some games to keep the guests entertained during waiting time, or inform guests about the waiting time before allocating them the seats etc.

We were staying next door at Gouri guest house and had no idea of this hidden gem. Looking at the unassuming outside banner, we thought it was a place we could pass. We ended up here in the night only because the other places had closed down by 9 pm.

Went in with minimum expectations only to find the place an amazing hidden gem and absolute Chill out place. They have beds with easy and comfy pillows to lie down as we wait for food to arrive. The place is quite spacious and don't mistake from the outside looks.

For dinner we had ordered 3 variety of pasta both red and white sauce ones. For the adults we had ordered fried rice, noodles and paratha. All the dishes were yummy and filing. The service was fast and good.

With the good experience at dinner, we went back next day for breakfast. During the morning you can also see the banana plantation behind the restaurant.Had paratha, poori bhaji. Again it was delicious and filing.

Expenses wise it moderate but they do offer a different experience with the nice ambience

I went to this cafe with lots of hope and I was totally disappointed, firstly there is very less place for seating. And the order takes he'll a lot of time, it took almost 1 hour for our order to come. Even we were served masala papad after an hour, that too after asking again and again. We tried the bruschetta, pasta, and pizza and sizzler. The taste was also not really great and few items felt less on salt and taste. The owner was really rude they closed the kitchen at 9:30 and didn't even inform us about the closing of the kitchen, whereas we had ordered starters at that time , after raised the issue with them of not informing they were ready to accept our order even though they didnt serve us the last ordered dish for parcel. They told us that the kitchen was closed and were giving away parcels to customers who came after us. Owner looked drunk and was behaving very rudely along with the staff there, and he was always smoking. Even the service was damn slow.
