The Children's Park also known as Indira Priyadarshini Park is located in the heart of the city. The main attractions of the park are pedal boating pond, coaching classes for roller skating, musical fountain, mini toy train, small vehicles for hire etc. However, the present condition of the pond Is very pathetic. It is in a dilapidated condition. At present there are no working pedal boats . The pond Is so dirty and polluted with waste and weeds. Children can  ride on the toy train running through the park.  There was a play music fountain also where children can dance to the music played while the water splashes on them. Now it is also not working. Everything is painted in bright yellows and blue colour. There is a recent addition, a renewable Energy park which explains various natural Energy sources and their working to the children.  Kids of all ages can keep themselves entertained for hours.  Behind the park starts the Marine...

Went here with big expectations but not satisfied. The park is well maintained, clean, and I agree with all sorts of things. But there are many items that are under maintenance. Toy train and there are a couple of other things. it is there but not working. There is one thing the toy car which kids will enjoy and the remaining are like Swings, Sees-saw, Slides which you can use for free in Subash park which is just sitting next to this park all.The Main entrance fee is just Rs 20, the additional things like cycle, aeroplane ride, horse ride and toy car ride you have to pay extra. Swings, Seesaw are not chargeable. The crowd is very less. The Balarama park is excellent and there as well Mayavi Character gone missing and a small popping up where the statue was there before.

Like I said it is peaceful here compared to Subash park with less crowd but a lot of scope...
