To Die For - Put beauty on your plate ❤ To Die For is quite an old and welknown name for the dessert lovers. The place is popular for their prettiest desserts and some uncommon veg dishes. 🔵Location- Near Ballygunge Phanri First thing to talk about is their beautiful ambience- in short a classy one, with glass roof through which the soft ray of sun will spread over your table and brighten the day. Then the beautiful walls with pretty cool decors, ideally photogenic. Lastly the white marble tables and the pretty brass cutlery. Coming to food, had tried: Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Orange Chilli Sauce- Rs.200, Chocolate mousse with Poached pear- Rs.420, Iced Americano- Rs.150 , Goat Cheese Tarts- Rs.350. Vanilla bean panna cotta with orange chilli sauce was served in a white plate maintaining a pretty colour shades. Vanilla panna cotta was absolutely soothing, soft and fresh- with its sweetness, the orange chilli sauce was perfectly balancing the taste. Chocolate mousse was dense, it was a dark chocolate mousse- with the beautiful flavours of dark chocolate, a little sour poached, juicy pear was perfect pair. Iced Americano was absolutely refreshing and with a strong flavor of Americano, saving you from all your headaches and stress. Goat Cheese Tarts was served with house made tomato sauce- each tart was well cooked and with a good stuffing of flavourful goat cheese. So if you want a good place to date or want a place with good desserts or a good veg place or want a romantic semi-open place to chill- then To Die For is must visit.

Best Fine Dining Vegetarian Restaurant in Kolkata for sure! The menu here is very different and unique. You need to eat here to know what I’m talking about! The desserts here are simply ‘to die for!’ Must try: Beetroot & feta salad, Cherry Tomato goats cheese salad, Warm Brie, Potato Dauphinois with Portobello, Tomato Bread Cheese Toast, Pumpkin Ravioli, Gnocchi with Artichokes, Textures of Cauliflower, Fettuccine with Eggplant (Desserts) Panna Cotta, Chocolate & Orange, chocolate and caramel, milk chocolate and mille feuille and chocolate and mint & raspberry.

The ambience and decor was prim. Very modern, chic and sophisticated. Shades of white, grey and copper gold. The regular water that they served was actually citrus flavoured water. The spaghetti with button mushroom was good. However the portion size is inadequate for the price. Price is almost double of what it should be. The dessert chocolate and caramel is to die for. Literally. It is really good and the rating is still at 3 bcoz of the dessert. The dessert showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs in detail.

They have come up with a new menu and words can’t describe how over prized and pathetic the food was. The beetroot risotto was extremely bland and it came across that some makeshift chef had prepared the dishes for us . The less said about the service, it is better as the waiter was on his own trip and more than even paying attention - What is most astonishing Is that we were the only customers in the entire resteraunt and yet he was lost in his own world. There was no Manager even on a Sunday. And it speaks volumes as the place was completely empty . Honestly, felt cheated as the price of the dishes was extremely high, and we literally had to come back home on an empty stomach. Avoid...
