Live kebab counter, you can see the traditional process they follow to prepare.
The starters are amazing along with some chilled masala chaas.
Murgh Makhani Tangdi Mutton Galawati Murgh Galawati Cheesy Murgh Seekh Tandoori Makhani Mushroom
One of the best Galawati kebabs are available here, undoubtedly. The mild creamy texture of the super soft Galawati kebabs, just melts into the mouth.
Murgh Makhani Tangdi is well marinated and prepared.
Cheesy Murgh Seekh is a contemporary touch to the traditional chicken seekh kebabs.
Tandoori Makhani Mushroom are nice prepared, moist and full of flavours.
The main course - Murgh Tikka Roll - it's a great choice for those who are roll fans. Easy to eat and carry a wholesome delicious dish. Butter Chicken along with Mughlai Paratha - a great classic combo. This Lucknowi style boneless butter chicken curry is totally different than the dhaba style butter chicken. Yes obviously the masalas are little different in gravy.
Phirni - a classic mughlai dessert. I think the rice is different or maybe semolina is used, because the entire the dish has the same consistency, not like the traditional rice one, which usually have a thick creamy layer. Added some chikkis to give it a contemporary crunchy texture. Strong aroma of saffron in phirni is really delicious.

Kebab Gunnj is a delightful gem tucked away near Colaba, right inside the lane touching Radio Club. This small joint has won my heart with its incredible flavors and mouthwatering dishes, making it worthy of a solid five-star rating.
As a mostly takeaway spot with limited seating for just six people, be prepared for a bit of waiting time if you wish to dine in. But trust me, the wait is absolutely worth it! The intimate setting creates a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a quick bite or a satisfying meal.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the Mutton Galoti Kabab! It's an absolute masterpiece, melting in your mouth with each tender and flavorful bite. The blend of spices and the tenderness of the mutton create an unforgettable experience that will leave you craving for more.
While the Tikka was also delicious, the only downside was that it wasn't served piping hot. However, the staff was quick to respond and happily reheated it upon our request, showcasing their dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.
I must emphasize that this place is ideal for smaller groups, as they can only accommodate six people at a time. But regardless of the seating limitations, the fantastic taste of their offerings overshadows any minor inconveniences.
So, if you're a true food enthusiast looking for a culinary adventure, Kebab Gunnj is an absolute must-try! From the heavenly Mutton Galoti Kabab to their range of tantalizing dishes, you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to order from this place again and indulge in their flavorsome delights. Highly...
Read moreA really small cafe and Kebab 🥙 place in South Bombay, the taste is amazing so does the ambience ✨ it's a really small place in the line of Gateway of India. The place is a must visit for 🍢 kebab 🍢 and Tandoor lovers, we got the experience to meet the owner he is from north and thus his passion for food 🍜 he decided to open this restaurant and he wanted Mumbai 🏙️ to try some amazing Lucknow kebab 🍢 and tandoor 🍗 so he collated some really good chefs 🧑🍳 from around the town and filled the menu with some out of the town dish 🍽️.
They have a good number of items in the menu 📖 which you can explore, kebab 🥙 and tandoors 🍢 are recommended. However, we tried something that the owner🤵 recommended us, I made him very clear that I will not like to try anything sweet :
Murgh 🐔 tikka Makhani - It's a creamy and tangy taste with yellowish white 🤍 type gravy. It was really melting and soft.
Murgh tikka roll 🌯- We tried this in Rumaali roti 🫓, I felt it was a bit dry can be more juicy further the quantity was okay. It can be more juicy and tangy.
Murgh 🐓 Masala Biryani - It was not like an ordinary biryani 🌾 where you will get sallam and rice 🍚 it was a proper mixture and something different. I'll definitely recommend this to try.
It was an amazing experience with a lot of options to try and to explore. Something different than other kebab 🥙 and tandoor corners. Only thing that I felt was table 🛋️ and sitting 🪑 capacity was very very less. Only 2 tables with a...
