Dune — Attraction in Pune

We were a very big fan of dune shop.Every year me and my sisters used to purchase bags from there for us or someone from our family.... You can say we were regulars for more than 5 6 years Then... Incident 1: there was zip problem for one of the bags when i took the bag to the shop they said its charge able because it was post 6 months... despite being a regular they Charged us ,when we said we were regulars ,he said there are people who come for more years than you...we ignored it...we paid the amount and topic closed.

Incident 2: my sister purchased a very nice bag from there...within 15 days of using it,the handle at the side broke,the leather came off, even the sides of the strap...she stays in Mumbai..so she contacted them and told them about the problem...they said get it here we will try as much possible as we can do...this incident was in feb last week...by the time i got the bag to pune and settled in, the lockdown happened...so was not able to go to the store.. When i was finally able to visit ... He said the one broken side will only be changed, the color will change as we wont get the leather of that color, when i asked to replace both as it will look very odd,he said it will be charge able ,he was not taking any responsibility , he just said you have to pay and blamed everything on lockdown, you did not use it hence there was wear and tear...the person was not at all understanding,very disappointed and very very rude......when buying bag you used to butter us a lot but when it came to responsibility you back off...this...

Bag quality is good and so I always prefer shopping from here. However they badly need to improvise on their sales persons. Whenever asked for, they will direct you to the costliest thing available first. When we take more than 5min, they will leave you and attend other customers. When you try to remove the newspapers kept inside the bags to check the volume, they will fly in immediately and put them back in hurry as if we would take them away! Height was one of the salesman who was showing me bags, asked me madam aapka profession kya hai. I said doctor, toh he was expecting a consultation and medicine there itself regarding an eye related issue. I said you come to my clinic.. I will examine and then prescribe..he said "chodo kaun aayega" and went and attended other customer! This was all going on in front of owner and he did not interfere. Take your own time and do not listen to their sales persons. They will surely...

Negative review Dunes Laxmi Road I am a loyal costumer of Dunes for many years . Yesterday i went there to buy a wallet after more than 2 years . While making the payment Owner told me it will cost more 25 rupees if i use credit card because as per government rule from 1st Aug every credit card payment is taxable. So i paid via Gpay. Wallet which I purchased didn’t have sufficient space for my Adhar card ,License so i decided to exchange that wallet. There was 10 rupees difference, Owner told me he would not refund me 10 rupees because i had done payment by Gpay.Instead he gave me credit note for 10 rupees. I asked him do they have any item for 10 rupees, he refused. So now i have to keep that credit note for my future purchase. Dunes lost their loyal customer for ever . I enquired about credit card payment in other shops , nobody is charging...
