The Ayyappan Kovil is located at Venketesa Colony which occupies a radial distance of half a km from Mahalingapuram arch (from the east - Kovai road) and the Pollachi busstand/market (south). The main deity is lord Ayyappan with the exact look of the lord Ayyappan at Sabarimalai in Kerala. There are sannithies for Kannimoola Ganapathy, Festival moorthies and Subramoniyar. The inner praharam has a corner for Navagrahams (நவகிரகங்கள்) also. At the outer praharam there is another temple for Manjal Amman. (மஞ்சள் அம்மன்).
