A Nurturing Haven for Early Childhood Development
We are absolutely delighted with our experience at Klay, where our daughter spent a wonderful year growing, learning, and thriving. From the moment she joined, it was evident that the school places immense importance on holistic development, particularly in fostering social skills and motor skills—two crucial aspects of early childhood education. Outstanding Teacher – Nivedha
A special mention must be made for Nivedha, our daughter’s class teacher, who was nothing short of phenomenal. Her patience, warmth, and ability to connect with each child made the classroom a joyful and secure space. Nivedha had a unique way of managing the kids—whether it was through engaging storytelling, creative play, or gentle discipline when needed. She recognized each child’s individuality and nurtured their strengths while helping them overcome challenges. Our daughter adored her and looked forward to school every single day, which speaks volumes about Nivedha’s dedication and teaching approach.
The school’s infrastructure is child-friendly, with bright, cheerful classrooms and a safe play area. The learning materials are age-appropriate, stimulating curiosity and creativity. Regular updates, parent-teacher interactions, and fun events like annual days and theme-based activities made us feel involved in our child’s progress.
Klay has been the perfect foundation for our daughter’s early learning journey. The balanced focus on social interaction, motor skills, and emotional growth, combined with a caring and skilled teacher like Nivedha, made this year truly special. We wholeheartedly recommend this playschool to any parent seeking a nurturing, well-rounded environment for their little one.
Thank you, Klay, for making our Daughter’s first school experience so memorable...
Read moreA friend of mine who works here suggested this place to me because of which I blindly trusted that it would be good. I am from the U.S and have seen how the best daycares operate however, I did not set high expectations knowing that daycares in India will have their own limitations. The most disappointing thing for me here was the language. Even after expressing multiple times to the lady who admitted my twins that language was most important to me, I was not taken seriously.
I was shocked when I heard the teachers pronunciation (for example, while singing a rhyme the teacher pronounced horn as ‘ho-run’) and grammar and I was even more shocked to see that teachers here aren’t really capable of handling the set ratio in a classroom (if two or more kids are crying, they carry these kids and the others are completely ignored). One of the toddlers classes is very engaging but the teachers English is HORRIBLE!!
After expressing my concerns several times and finally getting to know their capacity I stopped sending my kids here. They attended only for a week but this organization held 15k + 15k of payment saying that it was not refundable. And even the amount that is refundable I still did not get back.
What about the fact that I raised concerns several times from day one and nothing was done about it???? Is it my mistake or the organization’s shortcoming????
A piece of advice for all parents - Please demand to speak to the teacher or sit in on a class before you pay this organization anything because if they don’t give you what they promise they won’t even give your money back. Their mistake and yet they get paid.
If in the U.S I would sue you’ll but what can you do in India?
I only feel huge regret for having...
Read moreI have been to some 5-6 play schools before I learnt about Klay. Indira has been very good with giving us details and explaining the learning method. It's unique at a very minute details and the staff is well trained for it. It has been consistent from teacher to teacher and caretaker to caretaker. They treat the kids the same and I haven't seen any of them taking it light or not being consistent in their way they handle kids. As a center director, Indira is highly cordial and friendly. She is respectful of even the single most concern of parents that may not be a big deal. She uses her free time to just go to one of classrooms and interact with the kids for few minutes. Even though it sounds unnecessary, but it builds relationship and trust between kids. So my daughter feel equally safe with each member of the staff. More than learning at the age of 1-5, trust and safety comes first for a child. They were able to calm her down and make her feel home in a week. Knowing my daughter, I know how tough it is for me to gain her trust at times. They are definitely experienced, respectful and unique. CCTV and app services help a lot in calming down our anxiety. There is nothing hidden nothing brushed under the carpet no scolding no being rude no anger. They let the child be and slowly mould the child to follow the rules. I can see changes in my daughter as she has learnt to follow my words more than before. I don't think I would have been comfortable with any other school. It is not Montessori but the safety is as...
