The air conditioning system is good The place is clean but any food item provided are not allowed inside the auditorium. The lighting work are done in a fine fasion that gives a good focus to the performer on the stage, really suitable for bharatanatyam events, musical events etc. Seatings are available in both the ground level and first floor. The sound systems are levelled with perfection. There is more than one door to enter the ground level of auditorium. The reception area is spaced enough for the welcoming commitee. The corridors outside the auditorium are spacious enough to accomadate snacks stand. The green room is available and it is behind the stage which can also be accessed through the end of the corridor. The green room is a good spacious room which has attached restroom and mirrors are attached in the room and the green rooms are maintained clean after each use. I had two bad experiences, both due to the organisers. 1) It was announced that there is a musical performance, but when my wife and I reached there, we were turned back saying 'It's a private affair'; how arrogant can people get!? 2) The Times of India organised a Sudoku competition today, but disappointed the more than 200 people assembled saying 'There was a small communication gap within the Times fraternity; it was Bhavans Rajaji Vidyashram in Kilpauk (not Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Mylapore); sorry, please come again next week'! And this was something widely advertised in the newspapers, social media, their own website, and so on. Again, how arrogant can people get!?
