This temple is located in the centre of the city at Mylapore, Chennai.  At  this temple there is a holy fire which will be lighted continuously.  Unlike other baba temple, here  devotees are allowed to touch the baba’s status.  Baba status here is made up of pure white marble.   Devotees also can offer garlands and clothes to baba.  Very pleasant temple and definitely devotees  feel the holiness at the temple. There are other Sannidhi for Dwaragamayi Ana, Gurusthan and Narashimma Swamiji’s Samadhi  (Samadhi is nothing but a grave where a holy person attained the liberation).  There is also another  status of Baba which is made up of five precious metals. Temple History : This temple was constructed by Sri Narashimma Swamiji around 1941 due to his  dedication and belief towards Shridi Sai Baba.  Sri Narashimma Swamiji is a important devotee who  brought many details about Shridi Sai baba in Tamil Nadu.  Also he wrote lots of articles and essays  about Sai baba’s power and preaches.  This temple was constructed purely based on Sri Narashimma  Swamiji’s efforts and today this is well developed and maintained.

One of the well maintained Sai Baba temple in Chennai is this one. It was constructed by Sri Narashimma Swamiji during the early 1940's. His dedication and belief towards Sri Shridi Sai Baba was immense. Sri Narashimma Swamiji is a important devotee who shared great details and also spread the word about various miracles about Sri Shridi Sai baba in Tamil Nadu.  Also he wrote lots of articles and essays about Sri Sai baba’s power and preaches. I, as a devotee vouch for this divine place as it has positive vibes. On Thursdays, for Sri Sai Baba darshan roughly it may take anywhere between 1 - 1.5 hours. For annaprasadam it may take 30 - 45 mins. 🕐Timings: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun Morning 5:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M Evening 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M 🕐Timings for Thursday (NO BREAK) Morning 5:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M

This was my first visit to the temple, and I had no idea what to expect. From the outside, the temple looked new, but inside, it felt a little older. However, it was quite spacious, with areas for annadhanam and worship. The temple is well-maintained and very neat. I got Pongal as prasadam, and honestly, it was the best Pongal I’ve ever had. However, one thing I didn’t like was the way the priest treated me. There were two chattars in the temple—one outside and another at the back near Sai Baba. Since it was my first time, I followed a VIP couple to the back chattar, but the priest rudely refused to give me one and told me to go outside instead. I don’t understand the difference, but there was no need to be rude, especially to someone unfamiliar with the temple.

This temple is supposed to be pure and holy. But the staff and sevadals are horribly egoistic. One of the security guards in blue uniform takes money from devotees to allow them for close darshan and to touch Baba's feet. There is an old, short, I'll tempered priest or volunteer dressed in a red dhoti. His name is Suresh. He is the rudest person I've seen in any temple. He was distributing Badam milk prasadam to devotees. I was carrying my child in hand. I took my prasadam and I was trying to forward my child's hand for the same. I probably took 2 seconds more. The way he shouted at us was absurdly disgusting. What seva is he doing if he can't even be patient with a child? Is that what Baba has taught us? He was so rude to me and my family that our peace of mind has been ruined after the night aarti. I urge the temple authority to take action against him. He needs to be taught a lesson. His people management skill is extremely poor. If he's so egoistic, then he's in the wrong place to render seva. I demand strict action or a ban against this rude individual. Dear young parents, beware of...
