We visited Nithyam Amritham in Mylapore for a family lunch, our culinary experience included savoring their delectable fried rice and parotta. The fried rice, a harmonious fusion of flavors, showcased the culinary prowess of the establishment. The parotta, skillfully prepared, added a delightful texture to the meal.
While the gastronomic aspect of our visit was commendable, it's essential to address certain concerns for a holistic review. Despite its rapid ascent to recognition, the establishment seems to grapple with service-level issues, characterized by a growing sense of arrogance. This aspect demands immediate attention, as it significantly influences the overall dining experience.
Moreover, the frequency of price hikes is a noteworthy concern. While understanding the dynamics of cost fluctuations, a consistent and steep increase may pose a challenge for patrons seeking both quality and affordability. Striking a balance between maintaining service standards and reasonable pricing is pivotal.
In conclusion, Nithyam Amritham presents a promising culinary destination, with our experience featuring delicious fried rice, thali and expertly crafted parotta. However, the need to address service-level concerns and manage price fluctuations is evident. A comprehensive approach that values both culinary excellence and customer satisfaction is crucial which sadly is being overlooked in spite of bringing it to...
Read moreThis is my long due review for nithya amirtham. Two months ago I visited this restaurant for the first time for dine in dinner. We were waiting in the queue for so long and we found a corner place. Service was slow. Food was decent. Therefore I recommended my family to go last month for dinner. After finishing their dinner, they ordered some take away food in which my father ordered rose milk. Restaurant didn’t keep the rose milk in the parcel. My home is 13kms away from the restaurant. After coming home, my father saw the missed out item and informed the restaurant immediately. We didn’t make it as an issue as it might be of negligence. Same thing happened yesterday as well. My parents had the following items in your place such as mushroom soup, onion Rava dosa, chapati, aapam and filter coffee. As rectifying last time negligence, they gave some savories as a token of compensation. They ordered chapathi for take away this time. After coming home we noticed it’s two idlies not chapathi. Like seriously? Is this how they misplace the order every time? Let’s say first time is an ignorance l. How about this time? I request management to take this as a consideration and not to repeat in future. I am really disappointed with...
Read moreGood vegetarian restaurant and sweets with decent ambience eventhough the restaurant was a bit crowded. It was peak hours and golu sales were happening in all the streets. The staffs gave special attention to every customers and took orders. The managing person was very kind and explained about the dishes. He mentioned which dishes will be spicy and which won't be. The dishes are a bit pricey but it won't spoil your health.
What I and my mom ordered?
I ordered paneer fried rice. It was not spicy and they just added pepper alone. The veggies (beans, carrot were cooked perfectly) paneer was fried in medium and was added to the rice.
My mom ordered veg fried rice which was similar like mine without paneer and cauliflower Manchurian which was a bit spicy because my mom likes spicy dish.
For dessert we ordered kesar rasamalai and basundhi. Both were very good but I wished the quantity was a bit more.
In their sweet stalls there are lots of sweet and kaaram varieties. They sell 5 varieties of baklava. They sell their own brand coffee powder, rice podi, instant rice kulambu varieties. Loved...
