Took a 90min Javanese massage and it didn’t disappoint!

Reception was very friendly and helpful in explaining the different massages available

Requested for a male masseuse as i wanted more strength. He used his thumb to really press out the knots in my upper back and behind my shoulder blades. If you’re into deep tissue tui na kind of massage, I’d recommend him. M004 is his number. I have a lover back injury and despite the language barrier, he made the effort to constantly check the pressure and I requested him to be soft on the lower back and hard everywhere else which he did a great job.

They use a timer to ensure that you get what you paid for. I noticed he paused the timer when he left to wash his hands before he gave me a head massage. He also showed me the timer at the end of the massage to show that the full 90mins was utilised.

They have shower facilities which I used after the massage.

Overall, place is clean, they are very friendly and extremely reasonable in price. I’m would definitely come back again when...

Came to this place before pandemic and was in love with the service and ambiance there. Finally made another trip after pandemic without any reservations.

They tried to slot in and could provide only 60 mins Javanese massage for 2 of us.

Crews are as friendly as pre-pandemic (5⭐️)

Allocated to a room at level 1, less peaceful as I could hear people stepping down the stairs and people chatting or talking at the reception area. Cosy ambiance still (4⭐️)

Masseurs are skilled but my masseur seemed to be having running nose or sinus yet she did not put her face mask on. No longer compulsory but if she was willing to put on her mask, I will be more relaxed. The other masseur put her mask on (3⭐️)

Should refresh some of the room supplies. The pillow cover had mild smell, probably the oil residue (4⭐️)

The session last less than 60 mins in actual, around 40-45 mins. Probably it is because they have to cater the room for the next guests since we are just slotted in...

Absolutely NOT to be trusted. We knew it was peak period so we made a booking a few days in advance on whatsapp and even adjusted our schedule to fit their suggested time (7.30pm instead of 8pm), rushed back from our shopping to ensure we arrived early, only to be told they didn't have records of our booking. The receptionist refused to take responsibility and just turned us away. Totally not recommended and would hv given zero stars if possible..

Edit: to reply to the massage place's comment below, they were the ones who originally suggested 7.30pm when we made the booking and we had shifted around our itinerary for it. We were in a big group, with other family members, so it is not a simple thing to just delay our massage to another timing. For one, everyone was waiting for us to have dinner after the massage.
