This-4-story mall is so homey, since the people coming & strolling in often wear casual outfits (such as short sleeve shirts with short pants and sandals) instead of luxury or glamorous ones.
It also provides good arrangement for the tenants, for example the tenants who sell many kids stuffs (toys, apparels, footwear, etc) & even kids entertainment are in the same level of the mall. Restaurants & cafes are widely spread but easily remembered since they are compiled in several areas (for example, Asian restaurants are placed in the same areas of Mall 5, while western restaurants are placed side by side in one other area, local traditional foods are sold in Mall 1, and so on).
The food varies from traditional local, asian, western, but no Arabic foods. The food prices are affordable even there are some restaurants charge quiet high prices for the meal.
The mall has indoor & outdoor restaurants, cafes & entertainment. So, we can experience both ways if we desire. Next to the mall is La Piazza, a 3-story-building with several restaurants & there is live music every Saturday night in La Piazza's outdoor area. It takes about 5 minutes by foot to reach La Piazza from lobby of Mall 1 or about 10 minutes by walking through a tunnel bridge that connects Mall 1 to La Piazza).
The parking lots are spread widely until about 6 stories/ levels and also shared with Haris Hotel, that gives better chance to find a place to park.
The mall has membership program with many benefits for the members, such as discounts for shopping, dining, even parking. Other promos are also provided upon the engagement of the mall and some credit cards. Quarterly & annually there are prizes for the guests who hold membership of the mall. The prizes range from vouchers up to airline tickets.
1 more interesting thing is that the big fashion tenants called "Star" and "Sogo" often offer high discounts for the goods sold, that gives great pleasure in shopping goods with...
Read moreSo sorry for the 4stars. It doesnt mean am not in to this big super big mall. But it just this mall like Jakarta, interesting and mmmmmm but also so confusing and disorganized. If you visit it with the kids, trust me wear your best footwear or you're gonna feel so need that wheelchair and bottles of mineral water like in the zoo😅😝 I wish this big one can be more organized, but ya stil this place or i can say these places can stole your heart and makes you wanna come back with family or collegue. The taste of that chocolate cakes stil dancing in my mouth, mmmmm. And yep, the foodhall with the famous amous in the entrance, krispy kreme and many small stalls that so adorable and chosen well. Read moreOne of the biggest malls in the eastern part of Jakarta, near my residential area.
It’s big, luxurious , and comfortable, yet at peak hours or particular days of the week, it can be very packed with visitors.
It stretches from mall one until five, with different tenants or stores, restaurants, and other various outlets as well as services. It’s a big complex, yet very well-connected, and you can easily walk from one building to another.
They have some of my favorite stores, department stores, and supermarkets, like Sogo, farmers market, H&M, Uniqlo, Lakon, and more.
it has big food court with a lot of favorite restaurants, like the fast food chains, Doner kebab, Wingstop, Yoshinoya, Java Kitchen, Remboelan, and more. They also provide many Indoneaian authentic food stalls with affordable prices.
They do have sale and also issue MKG voucher that can be used in stores. Check out particular banks and credit card discounts, especially for F&B outlets.
Parking is abundant, but watchout for peak days or hours. Parking spot for disabled is also available. We use flash by BCa or cash for parking.
You can also use LRT to reach this place, starting from Velodrome Pemuda station directly...
