With a fun origin story, an inspiring broth construction tale, a strange background in french cuisine x his mastery in soto padang, Uda Fadly brought us the most surprising bowl of ramen—a hearty halal bowl.

I had the Tsurai Ramen with chicken! 🔥✨️

The creamy, very umami broth surprises you with the right amount of everything—saltiness, sweetness, spiciness. It hugs the noodle the way your mom hugs you farewell: softly, all over, lingering taste of goodness, but just enough and not too much. The noodle cooked to the perfect al dente for me.

The chicken...... I almost complained how the chicken topping in itself is not as seasoned as one would imagine, but honestly I was dumb for a second there. Well, it's not meant to be eaten alone no? Drown it in the broth, and I had an amazing bite of juicy chicken with just a biiiit of toastiness and a punchy taste.

And if you've had a ramen with me, you would know I tend to add lotssss of chili and garlic condiments, and also left or giveaway the egg........ not this time. No sir. I love it in itself just fine. Perfect portion wise for me too, the size and taste of a satisfying dinner.

Another impressive thing is how Uda Fadly put down the effort and thoughts on how to make the most of your experience there. You know how Naruto talks a lot with the ojii-san of Ichiraku?? This is how it felt like lol

I came because I read a review on twitter and google, saying this is the ramen version of meeting someone new, and getting to know them through a warm, long conversation... and boyyy how it's true! It's unlike the usual ramen halal because it is not the usual. It's familiar but yet surprisingly new. It got me talking about it in an exclamation marks, excited to share about it!!

Despite how hot the place could be (it's in a foodcourt?? Can u believe that), I will definitely come again and try everything on the menu.

When people share food pics, it's normally only the before, the presentation, the untouched. Here, I like to show the Before and After. ...and my final verdict is its an awesome comfort food with rich taste in every bite. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't really know their food.

Food: I've tried most of what is sold in the menu except for the duck ramen, and what I can say is every food is consistent. The exact same taste... every... time... chef's kiss My wife and I come here occasionally (like once or twice a month), and the taste of the food is exactly what we come for.

That's saying something about the quality of the people and the work they put in the kitchen in putting their hard work into making a single dish or bowl before presenting it to their customers.

Every ingredient put is tasteful. Every texture of the ingredients put is just right.... and the broth... THE BROTH... hrmmm... So good...

The Egg is soft boiled, so creamy, so tasty! While it's not

The noodle is just right. Bite is chewy but snaps apart with your lips.

Every other ingredient put in adds additional flavor.

Service: The Chef is very gentle. He takes time to come to each and every person eating, asking to give feedback on his masterpieces. He'll answer you why the food presented to you is the way it is, how it's made, and why. You get the sense that the food he serves is not just work, it's passion.

Atmosphere: While I understand why the Ramen Bar is where it is (The Chef will explain if you ask), eating this bowl would feel more proper if it were in a restaurant. It's too good to be served just as is. It's just too good.

Make sure you reserve a time-slot so you don't get disappointed on missing out on a bowl that is properly hand made with care...

One of the best Halal ramen in Jakarta. I went here on Saturday, and luckily made a reservation beforehand, otherwise I wouldn't get a slot. So, for people wanna go here on weekend, I strongly recommend to make a reservation. The seating capacity is quite plenty, but this is not a fast pace or fast traffic kind of restaurant. It is homey, a very nice place for you who love to enjoy some moment while eating ramen. Plenty of street parking space, no charge as well. But I suggest to bring a motorcycle, cause it's easier to get a slot.

First, I tried the Beef Gyoza. Love the juicy fillings. And what makes it special, I guess it's the dipping sauce. It's a chilli oil, specially made by the chef. Tasty, not that spicy, but gives an extra kick to enjoy the gyoza.

After that, I tried 2 kind of ramen there, suggested by the chef (who is also the owner), Shoyu Ramen and Ushibone Ramen. The shoyu one is superb. Light & refreshing. I choosed the beef topping, and it was juicy & tender. A very nice combination. But I prefer the Ushibone most, since I love the creamy & brothy kind of ramen. The soup base is rich, quite unique cause it uses beef as its stock, not the type that you'll find on most ramen shop, especially the Halal one. I love it cause it brings an extra umami aroma from the beef bones. Paired so well with the secret ingredient put inside, bamboo shoot slices. I would say it's a dare yet interesting move to use it in a ramen dish. Well done. I choosed chicken slice as the topping, and I enjoy it so much, more than the beef if I need to compare, since it was surprisingly juicy & tender.

Love the overall experience there. Very recommended. And FYI, the ocha here is free of charge. Simple, but such a good customer service...
