Segoan "The Dancing Rice" — Restaurant in Jakarta

Food are way overpriced. Taste is just ok. Their juices and lemon tea are syrupy water. Most of the food were not available. Service is BAD! We had to wait 20 minutes for our food to arrive.

The drinks arrived after the food, some without straws even though they are iced drinks. Some orders were wrong too.

Cutlery were not set on the table, which forced us to ask for them. The waiter already had them in his hand, but he put them back, chatted with a coworker, then left. Had to yell at them for the cutlery.

How did they survive this long? The manager saw and heard us yell at the waiters, didn't even glance at us. In most restaurants managers will always try to be kind. Not her. I'll just assume she has...

My husband and I recently had lunch at Segoan. While the service was commendable and the menu impressively extensive, I was disappointed by the food. The flavors were rather bland, lacking the boldness I expected.

Furthermore, the prices were on the high side. A simple meal for two, and drinks came to nearly IDR 500 thousand.

To make matters worse, they only accept debit cards and bank transfers, no credit cards, QRISand cash. As someone who prefers credit cards, this was inconvenient and we end up paying cash.
