Modern meets shabby-chic style. You can either hang out indoor at the small glass wall pavillion or outdoor at the terrace. Instagrammable spots for the social media queens/kings.

The shop is located within residential area so parking is a hassle. No parking space and the surrounding lanes are narrow.

We did not dine in because the chairs in the terrace were wet after raining and the indoor area was already filled. So we only bought take aways.

Large assortment of gelato flavors but mostly in large (500 ml) and medium (250 ml) take-away jars. Unfortunately mostly unavailable when I was there. Only around 5-6 flavors available and only 1 flavor was available in small cup at the time I was there.

I’ve tried Rum Raisin, Baileys and Salted Caramel and they were delicious. Recommended. And this time we tried Butter Coffee (75ml), Don Corleone (500 ml) and the Cookies and Cream (250 ml).

I preferred the alcoholic flavors but for those who are not into alcohol flavors, you can try Salted Caramel which is I love, Butter Coffee for the coffee aficionados, Cookies and Cream for the classics or the avocado flavored Don Corleone for the taste adventurers. I like that the gelato is not too sweet and still creamy like ice cream.

Scoop ice cream is below Rp. 50.000. While price range for takeaways is around Rp.135.000 for the 500 ml jar and Rp. 75.000 for the 250 ml if I remember correctly.. The jar itself is made of glass like mason jar so that probably contributed to the price. If you dine in, you can also have light meals like croissant or soup ad well.

The kind of gelato adults would love, but maybe not kids. Not too sweet, lots of unique flavors and alcoholic options. We were party of 5, each ordered different flavors. Most tasty was the dutch choco, the rest kind of fall short. Well, my kid and niece didn't like theirs (cookies & cream and blueberry cheesecake). Place is rather small. The whole floor staff was busy doing stock refills and nobody attended/waited at dining area. My brother asked one staff to clear previous customers' dirty plates and her reply was "we're a bit hectic right now", and she left our table as is. So we cleared it ourselves. Even if you can't attend to a request right away, there are ways to answer customers in a nicer way, no? The whole duration we were there, still nobody attended the tables, but there were maybe 6 staff concentrated around the fridge...

Vilo Gelato in Gandaria is one of the best place to look for gelatos with exciting flavours!

Their restaurant is beautiful with an aesthetic glass house portion on the front. They have a second floor and a spacious outdoor session.

Upon entering the restaurant, you will be greeted with a large refridgerator in which you can peer down and choose your flavour of gelato. They have the standard fruit flavor up to Baileys and Kahlua.

I chose their Bailey's Salted Caramel and a Smoke Beef and Cheese Croissant for breakfast.
