Peaceful park in a beautiful neighborhood. This park was large, clean, and not very crowded on a Saturday morning in the middle of summer, on a gorgeous blue-sky day. Strolling through the park we found a cute little playground with some whimsical artwork/sculptures, like the giant sticking up out of the ground. We found Oscar Wilde's statue and the Jokers Chair. We continued on through the park, taking in the beautifully manicured lawns, watched as some workers set up for an event, and stopped to really appreciate the gardens and large oak trees. I couldn't believe how beautiful the wildflowers were, especially enjoying the hydrangeas that were more than I had ever seen in one place in the wild.

Walking through the neighborhood, it felt safe and clean, as we walked from Merrion's square park to Fitzgerald park. We loved the architecture, the vine covered walls of the buildings, and of course all of the brightly...

Perfect spot to relax . It's a beautiful park with lots to discover. There is a reflective little corner to remember and gather for our dead armed forced members which is very peaceful and thought provoking with its flame and sculptures

A pretty cute Giants garden for the little ones and a tribute corner to Oscar Wilde, with a wonderful and witty sculpture to.him facing his former hall door! Wonder what he would makes of his former homes history if he could see through his statue today?

The main park holds a farmer's market I hop will be back once a week when the restrictions are lifted. It's also a great place to relax, read,, let the children explore. Surrounded by wonderful Georgian architecture, government buildings, art gallery and a museum children and adults will.love to be explore. To think this was once a private and exclusive park just for the residents of the square and now it's open to...

In this beautiful and well maintained park sits the sculpture of the famous writer James Joyce. It is located in a corner of the park looking to the house where he once lived. The well- planted park also contains many other sculptures of famous Irish people. Merrion Square Park faces the National Gallery of Ireland and Leinster House, the seat of government. The park also faces the Natural History Museum (presently closed for conservation works from 2025 to 2032) and the remaining three sides of the square are surrounded by a great many Georgian houses, many of which have different and interesting features. A large amount of horticultural work has been carried out in recent years by the Dublin City Council and the results of this work have greatly improved the beauty of this oasis in the centre...

Hidden behind its surrounding canopy of trees, this is a really nicely landscaped and ample sized park! It's a perfect place to get away from the stress of the city for lunch if you're working nearby or just to relax for a while in if you're sightseeing in this area! It also boasts a war memorial pyramid and a suitably lanquid looking statue of of Oscar Wilde, a driud like throne dedicated to Dermot Morgan and on Sundays its railings are adorned by the paintings of local artists!
