I used to love this pub! I've been coming here for 8 years as I work in the vicinity
But recently had an unpleasant experience The guy in charge of seating people is incredible rude My friend and I sat in an unreserved table we must have been sitting there for about 2 minutes before he came charging over (chewing gum ) and extremely rudely told us to move, he said the table was reserved (no signage) and said there was a large group ahead of us who needed it (I didn't see any group), it wasn't that busy but most tables were full. Mind you we understood his point and if he had asked nicely we would have been more than happy to oblige. The interaction felt strange and aggressive. We both felt a bit shook after. Needless to say I won't be...

So we wandered off to the beer garden and sipped some more Guinness!
Beer garden - really smoking area - was fairly large. You could see the place being electric when a big sports event was on the screens.
On a humorous side, if you look up at the ceiling you will realize pidegons and other feathered birds are not welcome !!
Toilets were immaculate and the water was hot but not too to utilize.
So the Guinness war good, but the initial messing on the olde world bar took the edge of the early...
