I went here yesterday evening with a friend. I've been a couple of times and highly recommend the food. The service yesterday was not very good. We were treated very coldly by our waitress from the start. At one point we went outside to chat as it was loud downstairs but we left all our belongings on our table and still had a bottle of wine we were finishing. The waitress came outside and asked us if we were going to pay for our food. I was shocked by this and told her we hadn't paid yet and only stepped outside for a second. We hadn't been offered to take payment yet. I was embarrassed by this and wanted to pay as soon as I could so we could leave. Once we came back to the table it was obvious she wasn't really in a hurry to get our table back and I could not get her attention. I had to ask another waitress for our payment and it took a long time. Eventually it took us standing up and putting our coats on for the original waitress to notice us and I asked her if we needed to pay at the table or upstairs. She says she can take for us at our table. I did not offer a tip. Her attitude was shocking and I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon after this experience. Having worked in a restaurants beforehand I usually understand the POV of service staff but in this case I think it was incredibly rude and it brought the...

The place is about 7 minutes walk from where we were staying. We decided to order for delivery as it's free anyway through Deliveroo.

When the order had passed the estimated 30 minute mark, we decided to cancel. We couldn't do so via Deliveroo so tried calling them but straight to voicemail.

So when delivered and straight away felt cold pizza box and cold wing boxz we thought oh well can just heat it up..

What we didn't expect was the food to be burnt badly. Tried calling them, still voicemail, okay no problem it's just 7 minutes walk we will just talk to them.

What we didn't expect was to be instantly dismissed and told to contact Deliveroo. We tried explaining to the young blonde lady the food wasn't just cold it was burnt a lot. She refused to even look and just rolled her eyes and said " look I told you to contact Deliveroo ,I can't do anymore for you" .

On the plus side, we explained what happened to Deliveroo and we received a full refund...

I normally wouldn't bother making such a review, but that you ladies attitude was a good encouragement to do so..

Certainly won't order there again, but very impressed with Deliverooa...

Stopped by this new venue with a group of friends on a Thursday night. The projected neon menu , simple urban decor and emphasized lighting are the first to catch the attention. An open kitchen (always a good sign) greets you on the ground level. In the basement the layout is simple but effective.Mirrored walls make great use of the space. There is, however, nothing simple about the food. There has been a 2010’s cliche of pizza and wings in Dublin city center but vice has managed to maneuver between the lay. It’s wings and pizza. But done differently. As a group we ordered one of everything. The balance of flavors and textures in each dish has been well thought out. A sesame crust adds an earthiness to a pizza that makes sure this oftentimes neglected part of a pizza is well received. They maintain that crispyness to the wings and tenders that is long lost to dishes with a high sauce content. A commitment many establishments fail to uphold. A nice front of house and good service is the cherry on top. This place has got a vice like grip on my tastebuds. I’m afraid I’ll ...

Ok, in complete transparency the pizza here was amazing. The best gluten-free pizza base I’ve tried possibly ever, but despite offering gluten-free options they are not a gluten-free safe business. My main gripe is that they offer a gluten-free beer that contains gluten. We would NOT have ordered if it had wheat as an allergen clearly listed on the menu. Sadly, we did not notice the tiny “contains small amounts of gluten” label until it was too late. This is a big deal as my partner is allergic to gluten and it causes stomach pain, di—hea, and g-s amongst other issues. Small amounts is preferred to large amounts, but having a reaction to gluten on my birthday…was not ideal. Additionally, a lot of celiacs were cross-contaminated on the Find Me GF app. This blows because otherwise the gf pizza was really good. I would adjust my review if there was a little more mindfulness about allergies / cross-contamination.

We shared a Roll The Vice and BBQ chicken tenders. Have to agree with the reviews that say they are heavy handed on the cheese which can be a pro or con depending on your preference. We found it made the pizza very greasy and soggy in the middle. A bit less cheese and the other flavours would have shone much brighter (we really enjoyed the combo of pickled onion, pineapple, salsa verde and jalapeño). They do crust toppings too but we didn’t try this. Chicken tenders were juicy and drenched in sauce, but it tasted more like Chinese sweet and sour than BBQ. Tasty, just not what we expected. Quick and friendly service. Overall worth going to if you like cheesy pizza and would like to try some new flavours. But doesn’t quite make it into my top pizza recommendations for Dublin.
