I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the Convention Center Dublin a couple of times, and it’s truly one of Dublin’s standout venues. The auditorium is incredibly spacious, spread over two levels, and can easily accommodate between quite large number of people. Even with large numbers, the space never feels crowded—it’s quite impressive. I’ve attended both a graduation and a conference here, and both events went perfectly. The center also features an expo hall downstairs, which is fantastic for hosting booths and stalls. The facilities are top-notch, and the iconic glass walls make the building a striking feature along the River Liffey. When you’re up on the higher floors, the views of the river and the Samuel Beckett Bridge are breathtaking. In terms of location, it’s very convenient. It’s within a short distance from the Samuel Beckett Bridge, and there are plenty of bus stops nearby, including one that takes you directly to the airport. This makes travel to and from the center and airport extremely easy. Of course, there’s the usual city traffic to deal with, but that’s beyond the control of the venue itself. While the center is undoubtedly impressive, there are a couple of minor areas for improvement. The lifts can be sparse, particularly on the fourth floor, which can lead to congestion during larger events. The escalator is substantial, but when crowds form, it can feel like a bottleneck. Also, some of the restrooms could use an update. All in all, though, this is a fantastic venue that’s well worth visiting, depending on the event you attend. I highly recommend it for both professional and celebratory occasions! Picture courtesy: to ccd itself. Taken from their website

I recently attended an Indian concert at the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD), and it was my second time experiencing a live music event featuring top singers from India. I have to say, the overall experience was nothing short of amazing! The CCD is a great venue for hosting both national and international events, including corporate functions, concerts, and cultural showcases. Its prime location, just a few minutes' walk from the EPIC Museum and the scenic views of the River Liffey and the Grand Canal bridge, makes it a perfect spot to explore before or after an event. The facility itself is modern and spacious, with excellent amenities. CCD's hospitality services, including the bar, add to the convenience, although it's worth noting that drinks are not allowed inside the main hall. This minor restriction doesn’t take away from the overall enjoyment, as the friendly staff and well-organized setup make attending any event a breeze. The sound system and stage setup were impressive, offering a top-tier experience for live music performances. The acoustics were well-tuned, ensuring the music could be enjoyed fully by the audience. The concert was energetic, with the crowd fully immersed in the fantastic Bollywood beats, making it one of the highlights of my visit. I absolutely loved every moment of it and hope to see more Bollywood events and live music coming to Dublin in the future! Overall, the CCD is a top-class venue for any kind of event, and I’m looking forward to attending more concerts and cultural performances there. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable experience in Dublin!

Great venue in a great location with absolute breathtaking architecture and outstanding in the Dublin skyline, weather permitting of course. All the staff were polite and professional. This should be a 5 stars all day long but you have to be able to deliver on the services. The biggest negative was the poor WiFi, although I was assured by my conference team that they paid for the premium option, the best available. It just didn't deliver, CCD really do need to sort this issue. It's difficult in the electronic age at a conference where you can't download, post or even ask questions through the app because another 500 people are doing the same thing. The conference day tea wasn't drinkable for me and I had to forego that pleasure for the next 3 days. Call me old fashioned, how can you eat with cutlery standing up, sorry I can't. The vegetarian options were poor is comparison to the other food, the chef's really need to move with the era and look at the advancement of great vegan and vegetarian options. The evening food service was rushed, started disappeared before you finished, as I was deeply involved in a conversation. Also missed the dessert and tea, as I popped to another table for a chat.

Dublin's Convention Centre is an extraordinary venue that effortlessly combines stunning architecture, exceptional service, and vast event spaces. My recent visit left an indelible impression, and I am delighted to share my experience. From the moment I approached the convention centre, its iconic building commanded attention. The architectural design is a testament to modern elegance, seamlessly blending with the surrounding cityscape. The sleek glass façade reflects the dynamic atmosphere within, offering a glimpse of the wonders that await. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the courteous and helpful staff. Their dedication to ensuring a seamless experience was evident at every interaction. They guided me through the halls, providing detailed information about the facilities and answering any queries I had. Their professionalism and willingness to assist created a welcoming environment that set the tone for the entire event. The convention centre's halls are spacious and well-designed, allowing for seamless navigation and ample room for attendees to explore and engage. The layout facilitates efficient traffic flow, preventing congestion even during busy periods. It was refreshing to have enough space to move around comfortably, whether I was attending a keynote speech or exploring the exhibition areas. The massive auditoriums within the convention centre truly left me in awe. The sheer scale of these spaces is remarkable, accommodating large audiences without sacrificing intimacy. The acoustics were superb, ensuring that every word spoken from the stage reached the farthest corners of the auditorium. The comfortable seating and excellent sightlines provided an exceptional viewing experience from any seat in the house. The attention to detail in the convention centre's facilities was commendable. State-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, modern lighting systems, and high-speed internet connectivity were seamlessly integrated throughout the venue, enhancing the overall experience for both presenters and attendees. Furthermore, the convention centre's commitment to sustainability is praiseworthy. The building incorporates numerous eco-friendly features, including energy-efficient systems and a focus on recycling and waste reduction. It is inspiring to see an establishment of this magnitude prioritizing environmental responsibility. In conclusion, Dublin's Convention Centre is a magnificent venue that offers an unforgettable experience. The beautiful architecture, combined with the courteous and helpful staff, create an inviting atmosphere for any event. The big halls, iconic building, and massive auditoriums provide ample space and exceptional facilities. Whether attending a conference, exhibition, or performance, the convention centre's commitment to excellence shines through. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue to anyone seeking a top-tier event...
