THE Mexican restaurant in Dublin. I was lucky enough to run into Salsa by accident and when I saw the menu I knew I had come to the right place. I'm Mexican and when I am abroad I like to visit restaurants that call themselves "Mexican" just for laughs. This place is truly Mexican. Go for the "Tacos al Pastor" and don't skip the coriander and onion, they're an essential part of true Mexican tacos al pastor. I also tried the tacos de barbacoa and the meat was very well prepared and juicy (side note for Regios: this is not barbacoa de lengua, but still quite good). I also had the Gringa con Pastor and the cheese was spot on! They serve their tacos with slices of green lemon (what other countries call lime) as it should be, and your choice of salsa. I tried Morita, Verde and Avocado and they weren't spicy for me, but they might be for someone who's not used to spicy food. Real quick service, great value for money and friendly attitude make this place a great choice in Dublin.

What a fantastic little shop! This Mexican shop does some absolutely AMAZING food. We got tacos with 2 different fillings and shared them as well as a couple of the drinks. I cannot lie when I say I will be returning. The food was absolutely delicious! 5 tacos might sound like a lot (or it might not) but they are fairly small though generously filled. I've never had anything like them and they were outstanding. The 2 dishes we had between us made a pretty good size lunch so no need to order additional unless you really want to try more of their options - which I'd say you might! We also got a milk drink which had cinnamon in it and the hibiscus juice both of which were delicious. Edit Update: there is indoor dining upstairs as well as the tables and chairs outsite! It is a lovely themed room with 5/6 tables! Highly recommend - way better than Boojum.

Could be better... I ordered a gringa, i like it somehow, someway, it reminds me to the cheap taquerias in Mexico. In that, this place is well achieved, and it stays true to that. But i dont know if that is good reference even in Mexico. Anyways, is good for that nostalgic crave for mexican food, that comes from time to time, the green salsa is greasy and spicy like it! The coronas were not that cold, but what the heck is 4 celcius outside, so they were just fine. just... My wife got the vegetarian tacos... i just leave the photo speak from itself

I was happy to finally enjoy some restaurant made tacos, and I seen the deal buy 1 get one for free on the burittos. I don't normally order from here, I order from boojum for buritos (check their buritos out! One of the best burittos ever!)

Now personally and honestly, one of the worse tasting Mexican food I ever ate. The buritto didn't have much going for it, the rice was pretty dull in taste, and I don't even wanna talk about their chilli con carne with pinto beans, the beans were ok but they weren't cooked enough, pretty dry. And I don't wanna talk about their chilli con carne, it was bland, with a taste of expired grass taste. I can tell you I tried grass when I was young, and I can still the remember the foul taste.

The tacos was just horrendous, reminding myself I paid 30 euro, didn't help with forcing myself to eat EVEN one taco! It was just soo BAD!!! The grass taste from the buritto was 10 times stronger!!! The chili con carne looked burned!! I drowned the buritto with taco sauce and managed to eat half. But the tacos are just a joke! I can't believe this is a restaurant!!! I can make some bomb tacos compared to these. I believe even a person who can't taste food, or has any cooking experience, would make a better tasting taco! I FEEL CHEATED!!! I really wanna know what prison escapee makes these Mexican foods, I hope to good you shy away from this restaurant if you have normal taste buds and have been fed normal seasoned food. But if your mum doesn't know how to cook and barely puts any seasonings, mostly for decoration, and your used to terrible foods... then this Is your spot for some expensive trash food.

Do me, and your mouth a favor and head over to boojum for great buritos. Only downside is that they dont...

I ordered a pollo burrito with black beans etc and a coke. When it was serve after two bites I knew something was wrong, the chicken was under cooked looked and smelt raw. When I examined it it was pink and bloody in the centre with big chunks of meat not fully cooked. I brought it back and the staff laughed and smirked and offered me another meal or a refund. The refund was just for the Burrito and not the coke. Bad customer care, no apology and no concern. I’m writing this as I’ve been up vomiting the past two hours.

Response to Salsa Management:

Thank you for responding, I must contest your response however. I am full aware of thigh meat and brown meat, this however when cut into had red blood and smelt raw. I understand you may have all the safe guards in place. But I do understand and can determine the difference between succulent; correctly cooked chicken thigh and undercooked chicken. I would be happy to discuss further as I was on the day I was in your restaurant but however I was laughed at without even examine the meal in question. As I stated in my initial response I had a spell of vomiting Tuesday night Wednesday morning. Baring it mind I had nothing further to eat that day. This issue could of been solved better by your staff and going from your response by...
