Me and husband come here all the time whenever we are in Dublin and we are always happy with the food and the service. Unfortunately, yesterday the service level was below par. Firstly, we asked to sit inside in the room where it was cozy and we were declined as we were two people sitting in the table of 4 even though there were several empty tables and it was very early in the evening. We were made to sit in the outer room and it was freezing everytime someone opened the door. I had to wear my jacket throughout the meal and was extremely uncomfortable. There were 2-3 waitresses in an almost empty restaurant. We were sitting there for almost 10 minutes and finally someone noticed that they hadn't even given us the menu. One of the waitress handed the menu finally, didn't offer us water and didn't come back for another 10minutes. Almost all of them were near the kitchen chatting with the kitchen staff. Once one of them saw us calling them saying we were ready she came in and took our order. Once the starter came in, we didn't even have the plates to eat. We had to call them and remind them to get plates. Disappointed, we started eating and it wasn't even 5 minutes our main course with two huge plates came in and there wasn't any space on the table so the waitress looked annoyed and asked us if she could clear out our starters. We weren't even done eating. We had also ordered 2 mango lassi and asked them thrice to bring and we only got one. Waitresses were still chatting with the kitchen staff not paying any attention whatsoever. We completely lost patience and left to pay the bill and we were charged for two lassis. I can't believe they shrugged it off as a joke when we told them that we never got the second lassi. People eat in restaurants and pay extra for the service. If this is the level of service you are expected to receive then I'd rather not come here. Highly...

I recently visited this restraunt with a group of friends, and I must say it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, we were met with a lackluster atmosphere that failed to create any sense of excitement or anticipation.

The first and most crucial aspect of any dining experience is the food, which unfortunately turned out to be a major letdown. The dishes lacked flavor, authenticity, and were poorly executed. It felt as if the restaurant had taken shortcuts in the preparation, resulting in a subpar meal that left us unsatisfied and regretful of our decision to dine there.

Equally disappointing was the service we received. The owner and his son, who were supposed to be the faces of the establishment, displayed an attitude of arrogance and unprofessionalism. They seemed disinterested in providing a pleasant experience and were dismissive of our concerns and requests. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.

To add insult to injury, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was lackluster and uninviting. The decor was outdated, the lighting was dim, and the seating arrangements were uncomfortable. It felt as if no effort had been put into creating a welcoming ambiance that would enhance the dining experience.

Considering the underwhelming food, the poor service, and the unimpressive atmosphere, I cannot recommend this Indian restaurant to anyone. It was a regrettable choice that left a bitter taste in our mouths, both literally and figuratively. I sincerely hope that the owners take this feedback to heart and make significant improvements if they wish to succeed in the highly competitive...

I was in Dublin for a long weekend and was searching authentic indian restaurants all around. I usually look for Indian Restaurants wherever I travel as that is my comfort food and well verse with the authentic taste of it. Looking around and searching for good restaurants I came across this place and thought to give it a try. The place had good vibe and indian movie posters on the wall all around. Quite nice ambience to sit and enjoy the meal with Bollywood songs playing at the background. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to everyone. Toilets were kept clean and tidy.

We had ordered 2 vegetarian dishes and a non vegetarian which was enough for 5 people. The dishes ordered were paneer lababdar, paneer Tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi. For the deserts We had ordered gulab jamun, walnut brownie and Malai kulfi.

The main courses were all good with the butter naan and tandoori roti. The Naan was fluffy and not as chewy as we get everywhere. The roti were made up of wheat base which was the best part. The only sad part of the entire meal was the desert Malai kulfi, first of all malai kulfi did not had authentic taste of kulfi and moreover to it in the very first bite we found whole sheet of paper wrap around the kulfi piece which we would have accidentally eaten if not noticed. Some people might think eating paper by mistake may not be a big thing but it is most important rule of any restaurant to check the food before serving on table.

Desi flavors in videsh ☺️ that’s how I summed this Dublin City based restaurant. We ordered the special chaska biryani and it was absolutely kids friend not spicy at all with good flavors. This special biryani has mutton, chicken and prawns it’s a triple dhamaka however was a lil disappointed with the mutton as it was not cook and well and no flavor so my recommendation would be try prawns or chicken biryani instead. This biryani was served with a yogurt raita and makhani gravy instead of salan hence the kiddos enjoyed ☺️. Next we ordered a masahari thali which truly celebrated the flavors of india and meat. This was my families favorites pick of the night. It had finger licking Rogan Josh (mutton dish and the meat was cooked to perfection with every bite bursting of flavors), butter chicken/more of makhani style, green curry was with the shrimp it was nice but not sure where it was from as could not relate it to any specific region in India. The kheer was a form style but liquidy so this wasn’t the typical south Indian kheer/payasam. The garlic naans were good pro tip order extra naans before as it does take time for the orders. The yogurt/raita was the creamiest best. Ian Noronha the all in all there was a great host and we even got a the desi cutting chai on the house. With great conversations and a lovely evening well spent at Chaska IFSC ☺️

Best Indian restaurant in Dublin City center. Highly recommended. Paneer lababdar and kadhai Paneer are our all time favorite dishes from here. Whenever we crave for authentic Indian food, we can only think about chaska. Their unique decor inspired by Indian cinema and the Colours of India surely put you in a delightful mood. Do try their Samosas!! There is great variety of South Indian dishes here and onion uttappams are my favorite. The Indian street food style dishes that they offer especially, Chhole bhature is obviously super delicious. The veg and non veg thali that they offer is full of excellent choices of dishes and Dal makhni will surely make you feel at home. In Desserts, the Gulab Jamun is a must try. It's truly a paradise for someone who's Pure Vegetarian and Vegan as this place has lot of options to choose from. In Non veg dishes I've tried Chicken biryani which did not disappoint me and is really delicious. If you're ordering take away from here and want that spicy, masaledar authentic Indian taste then don't forget to mention that in the " order notes "section in Deliveroo and chaska won't disappoint you. Chef Rajesh and all the staff is really kind and put lot of efforts in putting the variety of items in the menu.
