The most extraordinary experience I’ve had. They have no menu on display outside the restaurant in contravention of the law but I was still curious about what they served because of an elderly relative lives nearby and has mobility issues and it would be convenient for me to occasionally take her there . I asked to see the menu so that I could take a photo and the staff member was indignant - first asking if we were resident - questionable relevance - then I tried to explain the situation but he was then highly concerned that I was writing an online article. Read moreFood was amazing and the flavours really stood out! We got a starter and a main as our expectations were that the food portions would be smaller due to the presentation... Little did we know we was very wrong!
Portions were just right, leaving us to struggle finishing our mains!
Nice quiet atmosphere was an addition to the kind staff on the night. Not a single error. Not only that, they also brought me a birthday tray with a brownie on wishing me a happy birthday and this was totally unexpected so was a nice thoughtful gesture.
All in all, this restraunt made a great day a perfect evening....
Read moreStandard hotel fair. Very much a meh experience. Good if you’re hungry and don’t want to go far. Selection ranged from a Thai curry to fish and chips and steak. All I’m assuming are ok but forgettable - will fill a hole.
It’s good for people that want out of their hotel room but don’t want to leave the hotel. Which is perfect after being at a conference for 3 days.
I imagine it’d be good for group bookings, because there’s a cuisine that works for everyone and they bring it out pretty much as you order it.
Parting thought - there are so many great restaurants in Dublin to try, I would advise...
