I think this is a lovely place to visit full of history but you can't go in around because it always seems to be locked up which is a shame really hopefully down the line there is a plan in place that will see it open during the day so we can all take advantage of this wonderful historic buildings until then it's only from the outside which is a...

Whilst wandering around Wexford we came here and we met a passionate local man who volunteered to walk us around and tell us some of the history. Eamon Tierney was so knowledgable and he and a few others give their time to share their passion for this Abbey with visitors....

This is a very interesting place. Lot's of stories behind these ruins. There is a local tour guide who volunteers here with his daughter, tgey bring you into the grounds which are not accessible otherwise, both of them are very friendly and informative.
