I cannot express the disgusting food I got from this restaurant. It is something that I cannot speak about; the hygiene is something that’s best left unspoken.

Firstly, we ordered a vegetarian samosa and an aloo bonda. As enquired from the person in the shop, we had been promised a bonda with a great mix of spinach, chickpeas and potato. However as the result of it can be seen in the picture below. A small pebble of spinach and chickpeas was coated in a kilo of boiled potatoes and can be easily compared to the size of an atomic nucleus where the nucleus is the spinach mixture. The overall crust and coating was old, dry, oily and soggy. If they had been any flavour in it at all, it would’ve made the suffering a lot better. I felt like I had been served the entire bag of potatoes from Tesco in a single bonda.

The aloo bonda tasted a lot of uncooked turmeric! It was so strong I could barely eat it. The bonda was terrible and awful; I wouldn’t even wish it on my enemy!

Secondly, the vegetarian samosa was tiny! Without a microscope it wouldn’t even be visible! We were given 2 pebble like samosas for 6€. The mixture inside was very bland, and the crust was oily and not hygienic at all!!

Talking of hygiene, the whole restaurant seemed like I was in an abandoned attic. Soo dusty and the floors were so oily, never mopped! The chair coverings had turned black from the soot and I shouldn’t say anymore or I will puke. The quality of the restaurant itself was very poor and I have no clue how it is still supported by HSE.

To conclude, you can see the amount and time it has taken me to write; you should know that this is pretty true. If you want a real Indian meal not the best place to go. If you are a person who doesn’t really care. 5...

Spice Indian Restaurant is an absolute gem tucked right in the heart of Wexford town. My recent dining experience there was nothing short of extraordinary!

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted warmly by the well-behaved and professional waitstaff, setting the tone for a delightful evening ahead. The ambiance was inviting and cozy, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal.

The menu at Spice Indian Restaurant boasts a diverse array of dishes, catering to different tastes. I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of traditional South Indian delicacies and mouthwatering steaks on offer. It was truly a culinary journey where every bite was bursting with authentic flavors.

The waiters were more than happy to guide me through the menu and recommend some of their specialties. I ended up trying their signature South Indian dish, which was an absolute delight. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the spices added a unique twist that I couldn't resist.

Besides the delectable food, I was impressed by the restaurant's convenient location, making it easily accessible within Wexford town.

If you're a food enthusiast seeking a delightful fusion of flavors, a warm ambiance, and exceptional service, I highly recommend visiting Spice Indian Restaurant. You won't be disappointed!

Note: Always make sure to call ahead and make a reservation, as this hidden gem can get quite busy, and rightfully...

We did not have a great experience.

We placed an order for delivery and it took over 90 minutes to get to us. We rang in to check on the status and it was mentioned the food had just left the restaurant when it was supposed to have already arrived to us.

It's very overpriced for average quality food. We ordered the onion bhaji and vege samosa as starters, which was very overpriced considering you only get 2 small pieces. They didn't even fill the box that it came in.

The curries we ordered were okay, mostly sauce and very few pieces of meat in it. One major complain is that we ordered a Madras curry and it came to us very yellow. Every other restaurant we've eaten at had Madras with red sauce, so I doubt our curry correctly here. If anything, it tasted like Korma; it was very mild with little flavour to it and that's not what we ordered. The label on the box even said Madras so I don't think there was a mix up.

The cheese naan was okay, a bit greasy and not great texture.

Overall: I wouldn't order from here again. Long wait, overpriced, and average...

We ordered their spiciest curry and asked them to make it hot and what we got was absolutely the opposite. They did put some spices but added a bag of sugar before serving... we didn't bother ordering dessert since our sugar levels were off the scale. Kids didn't mind the sweet "spicy" curry and had it with the nice naan bread. I am giving it a single star because the naan was good but the main dishes were ALL SWEET! which would have been fine if we order pineapple chicken (even then it would have been too sweet tbh), and when we asked the server he simply replied that's our best and we don't add any sugar, it must be the tomato sauce...really? And to top it all, the sweet "spicy" curries weren't cheap and I know other places where we could have had a feast for a lot less. Overall, not going back and wouldn't recommend anyone unless you want your dessert and main course severed in a single dish.

Went into spice Indian for food with a friend, first to say we did not have a greatest experience at all, the staff was not friendly to us or helpful, I got the lamb Madras which was €19.95 which it came with no side of chips or rice you had to order them separately, which I thought it was rip off as I never had this experience anywhere else, I've often got takeaway from them and their price for takeaway is €12.95 which it comes with sides , not going to lie I was gutted about the spruce different and that they are charging way over price. I definitely won't be getting food ever again. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
