WexWalks — Attraction in The Borough District of Wexford

We didn't enjoy this walking tour that much. In the tourism office we asked specifically if the tour was going to include stories about murder and such, as we are sensitive to that topic, and they said no. They said it was going to be about the city per se, it seemed it was going to be mostly about the Vikings and about the important buildings from later times. Well, the tour is mostly about historical gossip, which we weren't interested at all, and of course the guide included a gory story about murder. The walk didn't cover much distance and didn't include some buildings that we were told it would include. Other detail is, the tour guide is only interested in Americans. If you are not American, be prepared to be ignored, he didn't ask any non-American from where exactly they were from, nor he made any conversation with any...

Blown away by The Haunted Hallows Ghost Tour around Wexford town last night. Paul the tour guide,accompanied by Ann Marie, brought us through many streets and sites around the town, some well known for their possible paranormal phenomena, others not so familiar. The haunting history recounts were superbly and professionally delivered by Paul who has a serious level of knowledge of the fascinating albeit often harrowing events in history of wonderful Wexford town. It was chilling to stand in many of these sites, in the dark with nothing more than a lantern light at times and witness the retelling of tales of our history and stories of paranormal occurrences some have experienced. Paul truly is a fantastic guide and I rate this haunted walk tour very highly. Looking forward to doing their Wex Walks history...

The tour was top notch, delivered to us by a master story teller. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

It was the best tour I have experienced in a long time.

Paul walked us through streets weaving the story and showing us all the significant places. He brought us into the Friary and the Opera house. We saw amazing vistas and decor.

We had privileged access to an 800 year old apartment, which was very special.

Paul was a very generous host with both his time and his knowledge. He paced the tour perfectly for us and adapted and responded to our questions and musings with aplomb.
