I had the BBQ wings and ribs. There was a nice flavour, however others at our table had issues with service and food.

They took the drinks order first and didn't take the starters at the same time which we aren't a huge fan of.

We arrived at 6.45pm and didn't get food until nearly 8pm. We were famished.

The drinks order was messed up. My cousin had to wait nearly 40 minutes for a milkshake. We were also missing some drinks.

Some of our party had starters and mains and others just had mains.

They sent the food out from the kitchen at random. My starter came out relatively quickly but my sister was waiting over an hour for her starter.

Most of us had our starters finished before hers arrived. Then when her starter arrived her main course arrived 5 minutes later. She explained her main course would get cold but the server basically said to take it up with the chef.

One of our party of 15's burger was raw. They did say we could have a free burger but the trust was gone.

A portion of chips was also missing from the order.

One of our servers was pretty unhelpful and there was a bad atmosphere as a result.

None of us got dessert.

We would...

Excellent! Dined here on many occasions, tonight was the first time in about 2 years,(covids fault!!) it wasnt too busy... we got seated in a lovely quite corner by the front door which was perfect. We were asked for our covid certs and ID in a very professional manner and shown to our seats. Plenty of hand sanitiser just in the door which was good, we ordered the prawns and potato skins to start, then the iberian burger with chips and the trucker burger with chips, dessert was a sticky toffee cheesecake. All we can say is the food was exceptional, fantastic, delicious, seriously tasty food but by god we were absolutely stuffed after it all! We ended with a gorgeous cappuccino. The short walk to the car was welcome after such a feed. 😂😂 highly recommended, you wont get a better burger in wexford. Top notch food, great prices, friendly service with a smile and such a relaxed atmosphere. We will...

We ate here today. It was crazy busy with the Fleadh on. The minute we walked in asked for a table for 4 the guy wearing a wine T-shirt (I’d say he was the manager) he was an absolute pleasure. He couldn’t help enough even though he was run off his feet. He went to take our order and a lady shouted at him excuse me we were here first. He was very apologetic to us there was no need we were happy to wait our turn seeing as he was so accommodating to begin with. I had the born happy burger wow it was beautiful. My husband had the fillet steak and to say he hasn’t stopped talking about it is an understatement. It was beautiful. My daughter s and the beef burger and goujons. Everything was delicious. The staff were lovely the girl who served us was very polite. Hats off to the chap in the wine T-shirt you handled a very busy day without being...

Ordered a burger and had to dismantle it and chop up the onions and tomatoes myself a put the burger back together, the chips had far too much rosemary on them it even over powered the burger taste, my partner got chilli beef cheese fries and they were far to over seasoned (why??) and everything basically tasted of rosemary, rosemary should be just left to grow in the garden or kitchen window, the table beside us was cleared but not wiped down and we had someone's left over burger bun under our table it was crusty so was there a while, I let staff know about all this and they didn't even offer a discount or can of coke on the house, overall was very big let down by this spot supposed best burgers in Wexford n by far one of the worst iv had in a long while, definitely not worth the €24

Stopped in Wexford for some lunch. Most resteraunts were closed? (Dont open mondays or Tuesdays?). Found Charred by the smell of burning wood and followed my nose. I had BBQ Ribs garlic cheese fries and my wife had the New Yorker cheese burger n chips. Service was great n staff was brilliant. Indulged in some profiteroll s and cheese cake for desert with a really good cappuccino to wash it down. Portions are large and so was my wife's glass of Rosè. Great place for food. Well done for making the effort to open while others are shut. Will defo be back soon. No.1 on my return list in Wexford.

I decided to give Charred a go after seeing a few reviews on Google about it and I’m glad that I did. We ended up visiting around Lunchtime when it was pretty quiet and got the Falafel Wrap and the Bacon Cheeseburger for a really decent price. The food was fresh and tasty and we weren’t waiting too long for it which was great. The Nachos we ended up getting were OK. I wasn’t too keen on the cheese sauce that drizzled over the tortillas but that’s a me problem not a charred problem so I can’t really blame them for that. Would visit again. You can’t go wrong for €11.95 a meal.
