Want to give no stars (avoid at any cost if you don't want to get a sore throat/throwing away your money).
Pros: White Rice is ok.
Cons:
Taste bud background: I have been eating Sweet and Sour Crispy pork in HK and SG since a child to 2016.
Sweet and sour crispy chicken:
Too many jelly/not crispy tiny bits 'chicken' pieces. The sauce wise, flavour is ok, if they didn't poured in a whole bottle of vinegar, which hurt my mouth and throat alot. It is hard to swallow. The carrots are pre-boiled in a batch (very soft, not any crunchyness left). I was so traumatised that, I lose hope in trying another Sweet and Sour Crispy dish, even with the shop that we usually get from when we visit Dublin. After asking my husband to taste one bite for me(Dublin'e Sweet and Sour Crispy Pork), he says it's fine, then I had hope in continuing eating Sweet and Sour dish.
Beef and Tomato 'gravy' rice (蕃茄牛肉飯):
I use HK and UK Newcastle as a standard. The sauce... it's just a 'sauce' with salt. There isn't tomato flavour in the sauce. My husband agrees. He added that, the thin sliced beef might be frozen beef. They are not soft. The carrots seemed to have been boiled in a batch beforehand (very soft), compared to Dublin's Crumlin's Ocean Garden takeaway. We both are not eating it, so threw it away. We have no idea what we have just ate.
Spice box (my husband): Both of us agrees that it is too...
Read moreBe careful what you order! Anyone with food allergies needs to be extremely careful! We always order from here when home and this August was no exception. But we had the same issue twice with them. Once we put it down to a mistake but twice is negligence. So basically what happened is we ordered various items and one of them was the mixed vegetable soup. The first time we ordered it, we found chicken in it!!!! We checked the menu to see if we had misread but no, they had put meat in a vegetable soup. The second time was a lot more serious because there was chicken and also prawns! I am allergic to shellfish and was lucky not to be eating the dish but this could have had serious consequences. We tried to phone but the number was engaged and I would have liked to contact via email or Facebook in private but those options were not available. A real pity because I used to really enjoy eating here but after this, it is safer to...
Read morePossibly the best in wexford. The length of time in business here should that. If it was as bad as others make out they would be closed a long time ago. The food is ALWAYS great from here in my personal opinion. Sometimes it can be hard to get through on the phone and can take up to 20 mins to pick up your order but again, surely a sign of how good it is when it's this busy. Value for money, tasty food, the ladies on the counter are excellent. Do yourself a favour, get here, and if you're down for a night or a week pop in. If you're you're spring roll fiend like me, get yourself the spring roll, chips and whatever sauce you're having. Then come back to me and tell me you didn't enjoy it, I dare ya 😀 their rolls are the size of a small baby! I can't recommend Tengs highly enough....along with most of the population of wexford Town at...
