Went here today and it's pretty awful in terms of the food. The picture shows the tepid excuse for Beef Bourguignon that was mostly carrots and clumpy rice (a ravenous bloodhound would he hard pressed to find the meat), wasn't even heated up properly, that's the annoying part, that they don't care.

Everything is half full, even paid for an extra portion of chips which were half full, and cheap frozen chips at that. This place is just another symbol of rip-off Ireland in my opinion and the price for two lunches of questionable quality, temperature and portion size was just under €60... for café food! It's gone beyond a joke and the place is staffed by miserable looking young people who don't seem pleased to be there, and aren't that bothered really. Cakes are left exposed on edge of the food counter while a long queue of people stand over them, chatting, coughing etc. Not appealing at all. Don't recommend this place based on the miserly portions and poor quality for the price. €14.90 for a small wholesale Panini/roll with a few frozen chips or salad. You get...

I'm long overdue to leave a review for Westgate. Darron & his team are always a pleasure to deal with. We have a self-catering property for large groups and over the last couple of years our guests have often used Westgate at our recommendation and everyone has complimented them on their tasty food & great service. I can always recommend them to anyone with confidence. They have done weddings, birthdays & anniversaries here and always get it right. So good for catering for vegans & other special diets too, so that the meat eaters are looking enviously at them, rather than the other way around! On a personal note, I love the cafe. The gift shop is perfect for picking up a present for a discerning recipient! Their coffee is the best in town & their pear scones are my...

Popped in for a light lunch today, ordered fishpie place was hopping. It wasnt good - fish was hard and without any creamy texture or sauce and it had been reheated with a chunk of lemon on top that not alone looked unappealing but made the mash taste like lemon peal. I wanted to be discreet so called and gave it to the waitress who just asked would i like something else - doubt she even told the chef - so no learning there. Coffee however was great and they had alternative milks - i really like the place so this was very disappointing. Buyer beware. Maybe stick to salad they are to die for and you can box them up and bring them home from...

I always love coming here for lunch, they have a fantastic range of healthy yet interesting dishes! Plenty of delicious vegetarian options to choose from also. It’s always busy in Westgate and with good reason. There’s no table service but a simple system of going to the deli counter where you can see all of the foods you can choose from, take your number and your lunch will be brought to you. Even on busy days I’ve never had to wait too long! They also have a range of delicious cakes and scones with plenty of special dietary options and they’re coffee is just caffeine heaven.. would highly recommend!

Returned to this establishment after a long time. It's a high-end gift shop, with items such as scarves, hats, jewellery, and other items I could go on. Well worth a perusal. It also sports a fantastic coffee dock, for want of a better description. Bye the bye their coffee is delicious. I had to close my eyes, passing the desserts and tempting sweet treats. Service was quick with plenty of seating on two levels.
