Ramen Wexford — Restaurant in The Borough District of Wexford

Me and my partner ate here twice in a week due to commitments locally. Once midweek evening and once on a saturday evening. Plenty of parking both times and roughly a 20 minute wait both times from ordering to serving. The restaurant is nice, food is very good even down to an icecream machine you can use yourself. The vegetables you can tell were fresh and not overcooked which is common with stir fry. Now the reasons for only 3 stars, My partner ordered a mojito which is one of his top picks when out and it was horrid and the mint leaves were not fresh. In fact some were visibly black. The restaurant is very understaffed and you can tell from the set mood which is such a shame as you can tell they try and the food is so good. Given the system they have in place for food ordering and so on they really need someone front of house to explain to customers when entering. We witnessed a customer who entered spoke to a staff member who didnt explain the way it works. The man proceeded to sit for a further 15 minutes waiting for someone to bring him a menu. Eventually he went in search again for a staff member who he had to quizz for information. Much the same as us when we first visited. You have to collect your own cutlery but noone tells you that or where from when ordering at the counter. Aswell as cutlery was filthy... Drinks you get from the fridge which they open at the counter and give you a glass during ordering, you then carry it back to a table you choose yourself. A tricky situation when you could be one person with more than 2 drinks plus maybe a wallet or purse. Its such a shame and waste of a very good buisness with so much potential. I hope it improves as finding good fresh food...

Been a few times and normally have a good experience. The foods good, served fairly fast and served in good portions.

Wanted to leave a higher review but the whole meal was soured by a rude waitress. First I just wanted to say I could understand somewhat if they were busy but the place was empty except us and all others working here I have found to be nice.

To put it simply when ordering we ordered dish's with tofu, got her to repeat it back, as she was looking everywhere else but us. Proceed to get 1 tofu and the rest chicken, mentioned this to her just to see if this was just a mix up and to get the food we ordered. She proceed to have a go at use. tell us off for not ordering clear enough and told us they don't even do curry with tofu. She left, to be fair came back with the curry with tofu(which they now magical have and which I have had before with no issue's) and she continued to complain and blame us. I regret not getting her name, all I can note was that she had dyed blond hair, fake tan and was working around 2-3pm. I am a huge fan of Curry Massaman, I've tasted many variations of it all over the world so I was very excited to learn that a Asian street food restaurant was coming to my area which served my favourite dish.

Ramen's Massaman is the most disappointing one I've ever had. To me it has very few characteristics of a true Massaman curry. Too spicy, too complicated, essentially too much veg in it to overcompensate for the bad curry.

I also ordered the samosas as a starter, even more disappointing than the curry. They were extremely flat on taste, just completely boring.

I will admit portion size is good, but then that's a shame when the food isn't great.

The front of house woman is excellent, great service. Website is great but menu doesn't state if the dishes...
