Beautiful weather today, sea is very calm, sun, not too warm, just perfect. I’ve purchased for my wife and I a round trip of the Capri Island of 1h45min supposed to start at 13h15. We’re asking at the desk of Capri Laser how many people today is supposed to be on the boat with us. The answer is - few. The boat starts at 13h35 from the harbour. We’re about 10 people on the boat and feel very comfortable. It starts as promised. We head the wonderful Blue Grotto what’s about 10 min from the harbour, spend an extra 14 Eur each and have about 10 min inside. This spot is really special. And we’re ready to go to the next spot but… the boat is going the opposite direction ! Without any warning is returning to the harbour…we are asked to leave this boat and we have to take another one..It’s 14:45 and we’re leaving the harbour one more time with the boat this time fully packed. We’re told the boat now is going the whole round trip without stopping at the Blue Grotto. We’re going just 5 min to Punta del Capo and… going back again the opposite direction ! Passing next to the harbour Marina Grande, we’re going the Blue Grotto direction one more time. It’s 15:10 we’re in front of the Blue Grotto. Hopefully we’re not stopping there this time. Then the boat goes just to the Punta Carena, Faro Capri at 15:33, makes a U-turn and …going back to the harbour ! We’re arriving back to the harbour at 15:45. We payed full price of 18 Eur for this trip what’s been full of bad surprises, been a half-round trip and last 2hrs but showed us same places twice. This company is absolutely nor reliable. Capri Laser is a pure joke. We don’t recommend unless you have time and money to waste and want to see just half of what you’re supposed to pay for. Capri,...
Read moreZero stars!!! Sooo bad!!! Chaos !! It’s a dangerous operation. Board this ship at your own risk. We only had 1 day in Capri and we were told it’s 1.5 hour trip. We were told it was departing in 5 minutes but we were moved to a separate queue and had to wait 30 mins for the boat: the trip lasted 2.5 hours. The boat went way too fast and was uncomfortable and not enough shade cover from the blistering sun. They sell drinks and only take cash. Stop at blue grotto was where the nightmare begins. It’s carnage and disgraceful. They turn the engine off in a long queue to jump off the boat onto a tiny rowboat @€18 cash per person plus tip that will be demanded!! People were hitting themselves jumping onto the small boats.. one person fell into the sea. We were rocking so badly on the boat we started to feel sea sick and noticed elderly people in a critical condition due to sea sickness and heat stroke.. we were queuing for an hour!! We got so sick we couldn’t go into the grotto but glad we didn’t go in as the entrance is a tiny crack in the rock and is clearly dangerous. No life jackets to be seen.. and people got 2 mins in there and you are not allowed to swim. I was so nauseous I went to be sick in the onboard toilet and OMG!!!! It was the most DISGUSTING toilet I ever saw.. the staff didn’t care that people were unwell my daughter had vomited so much sue was lying on the floor and people and the 2 staff just stepped over her .. they don’t care. Then they handed out smelly green sick bags as the sides of the boat were covered in vomit..I noticed them cleaning the boat before we got on.. now I know why.. worst experience of my life they ruined...
Read moreI would also rate these guys below zero, but you have to give one star. In short, typical scammer preying on tourists.
We were explicit about asking if the tour ticket went inside the Blue Grotto and were told yes, paid 36 euro for two tickets. The tour only went around the island and then we were told that we had to pay an additional 14 euro each to get inside the blue grotto, but the boat didn't even stop at the blue grotto, because it was an hour and half wait and returned us to port. So not only did we end up with a tour we didn't want, but we didnt even get to pay extra for what we DID want.
These terms are in the fine print on their ticket, but they weren't forthcoming in giving us that information upfront before we bought it.
We asked for a refund on the basis we had asked if the ticket included grotto entry, and they had mislead us. Rather than being fair and refunding us, they insisted we were lying, hurled abuse at us at a busy kiosk, they talked over us, told us stories of tourists doing this to them before, then called us unintelligent, uneducated, stupid, disrespectful of their country, the manager poked his head out of his window like a turkey to posture for a physical fight with my partner, and their staff threatened to call the police.
In short, avoid these guys like the plague. They represent every negative stereotype of Italians. It's clear this is their business model and they are well practiced at...
