La Focacciera Capri ( Porto ) — Restaurant in Capri

One of the worst food we've eaten in our 3 week trip through Italy. Gave me gastrointestinal issues the next day even though I only ate half a slice. We got the so-called zucchini slice, which was stale and fishy. It did not have any zucchini in it, and tastes more like pesto with cheese and maybe anchovies, or at least i hope that's why it was fishy. The margherita was not much better - it's stale, the cheese was rubbery, with canned tomato paste. As someone who abhors food waste and almost never leaves food uneaten, I was unable to finish. Disinterested service, especially for Asian tourists. Greeted the staff with a good afternoon in Italian and he didn't bother to smile or return the greeting. The same staff was a lot friendlier with white tourists, even if they did not buy anything after he gave them the run through of all the flavors. We visited this restaurant as a group of 12, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The pizza was delicious, and the spaghetti was very good, satisfying everyone's taste buds. However, the ambiance could be improved; the restaurant was a bit noisy due to the loud music, which made conversation difficult. Additionally, it felt quite hot inside, even though the area was shaded, as there wasn't enough ventilation.

Incredible and affordable - all the flavors are good, just get whichever is the freshest out the oven and share with some friends. We just sat here for 45 minutes getting the freshest slices as they came out. They give a free limoncello shot with a slice of pizza which is awesome and serve many different kinds of spritz which were also very good.
