Luxury Villa Excelsior Park — Hotel in Capri

This hotel was more than we imagined. As soon as we got off the ferry, Buddika picked us up with a sign holding our name. He drove us to the hotel and we were greeted by more staff. Mariano guided us to the garden patio where Peppe, the food and beverage manager, offered us a limoncello spritz and some snacks as we checked in.

After we enjoyed our drinks, Mariano walked us to our room where he upgraded us with a hot tub which was a pleasant and much needed surprise. Our bags were already placed in the room and it was a full service experience from the moment we got here.

Mariano let us know that we were going to have some bad weather during our stay so it would be best to take a boat tour sooner rather than later. They booked us a boat tour around the island for 3 hours and it was so beautiful. We got to see all the grottos and go swimming in the clear blue water. It was such a great time.

Our favorite part of staying here was breakfast each morning. When you make your way downstairs, Peppe greets you with a Buongiorno! and shows you to your table. He provides a warm assortment of pastries and your drinks to start. We ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice and cappucino 😍😍. My morning breakfast was always the Excelsior Omelette with a side of bacon and a fruit salad. I did go extra with a nutella crepe one day and it was so worth it. Best way to start each day.

Excelsior Parco offers a free ride to Marina Grande and the City Center. The staff is knowledgeable about the entire island and it is such an intimate experience. We sadly had to leave to visit other parts of the Amalfi Coast and hands down, no other hotel has treated us like the staff at Excelsior Parco.

At drop off, Buddika took our ferry confirmation and went to grab tickets from the ferry office for us so all we had to do was go straight to the dock.

Spent two glorious days here

We were greeted immediately by reception and headed to the gardens where we received a drink and snacks by the garden. We were given an overview of all the great things to do in Capri with a personal concierge. This was truly a dream!!! Gabriella took so much time going over the island with us. We got into our elegant room with a hand painted beautiful ceiling. The smells of Capri were smelt on our terrace which had an hot tub ready and waiting for us over looking the Mediterranean Sea. We then headed to the pool were we were given towels and water with lemon. A bottle of champagne as we celebrated our 25th anniversary.

Every single move we made had a personal touch. We were never hungry or thirsty. They would bring anything we wanted directly to us with no extra charges. Breakfast could be eaten in the garden or brought directly to your room. It was a gourmet menu. We opted to sit on our terrace overlooking the sea. The breakfast was delicious. It was fresh and had extra touches of elegance to it. We opted to eat at the restaurant one night in our hotel. The service was seriously outstanding. The food was incredible. The bread was so warm and soft. The drinks were made to perfection!

Another incredible perk of this hotel was having a personal driver. It didn't matter where we wanted to go. We were driven anywhere all day all night. We were dropped off to explore and picked up when we wanted to be picked up at our meeting point. On our last morning we got up at 5am and asked our driver to drive us to the centre Square so we could hike. I give this hotel a 5+ star review. We honestly felt on top of the world and would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be back. I couldn't hold back my tears of pure joy!

THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC! Every single person that works here is beyond kind and helpful. They go above and beyond to help you and accommodate every need or request. The rooms are cleaned as soon as you leave and when you come back it is spotless. The food is delicious, we enjoyed a breakfast feast everyday with Pepe, mostly in the solarium but had it in our room the last day. There is such a great selection of food and drinks. Pepe is one of a kind- great guy. We mentioned briefly that it was my wife’s birthday and Pepe went and got us a cake the night before and gave it to us for her birthday at breakfast with Prosecco. Budi, is the main driver and so nice and fun to chat with. The car is available for guest any time to shuttle around, unreal. Budi offered many suggestions on what to do and he really made the trip enjoyable and easy to get around. The front desk staff is top notch! Adriano & Stefano (and a kind lady that I did not get her name). They helped us with reservations for food, transfer, boats, tours, rental scooter, literally anything we asked they went out of their way. They take a lot of pride in this place and where they work and it truly shows. Our ferry was cancelled last minute due to weather and we didn’t know but Stefano was checking for us and let us know. He then booked us a different ferry and private ride to get to our destination without delay. Budi even went and picked up our ferry tickets prior. Being from Las Vegas, we understand service, and luxury villa excelsior park went way beyond our expectations. I could not recommend this place enough. Each room has a jacuzzi in it looking out to the water. This place only has 11 rooms so you feel like it’s your own with a full staff working with you. 11/10. Great job everyone we met...
