Tempio di Diana e Chiesa di Sant'Anna — Attraction in Cefalù

Lovely scenery, quite easy to climb through the Rocca park as there are stairs all the way up to Diana's temple and even upper to the Castle - although best to grab walking shoes, not sandals, as the stairs are not leveled, and it can get steep. Bring water too, as it can get sunny till you reach the parts in the shadow. The entrance to the park is 5 EUR per person. Not sure if there's a way through the forest / mountain too, but the road through the park is quite straightforward, although the temple is not marked in any way. It's towards the Archeological center, after Chiesa di S. Anna. The amazing views are from the point of view platform right after the temple, no need to climb all the way to the castle...

It is challenging to go up and it is a long way. It is not for everyone and when they say wear walking shoes it is for a good reason. Once you get to the temple of Diana you are only half way. If history is your thing then this is a must. The climb in places can be hard but easily overcome with good footwear and patience. Cheap entrance fee at just 4 euros. Take water.
