The beauty of using cards like the MY FE tourist card is that it includes oddities that one may never normally visit. This is certainly the case for me with Spazio Antonioni.
The exhibition feature exhibits / photos posters paintings and film clips in chronological order by the film director Michelangelo Antonioni.
Now, I can honestly admit I had never heard of the guy, however the images are haunting and certainly capture an almost film noir feel to the exhibits from the 50s and 60s. It is almost startling when he starts shooting in colour.
For me it added a texture to the Italian landscape that I had imagined from Ferrante's My Brilliant Friend series of books.
The exhibition is set over two floors and probably takes about an hour to view.
