Lake Como Museum | Immersive Experience & Souvenir Shop — Attraction in Lecco

Good for an overcast or rainy day in Lecco. We were welcomed very warmly by the staff and shown around. About the experience itself I overall thought the ideas of the themes and the immersive rooms were lovely but we expected a little more information on everything considering the price point of 12€ pp. I particularly enjoyed the way the museum ties in stories of people connected to the Lake (and the idea of the Lake as a character itself) but again I expected some more information, reading samples perhaps. More information or stories about the places we see in the videos would also have been nice. Overall I would say 3 1/2 simply because it's pricey for an hour max....

This is a spectacular experience well worth spending an hour or two to enjoy. We received a very warm well welcome. Features are in English or Italian. This is a mix of educational and fun features using innovative technology - without wanting to spoil the surprise the presentation of the lake panoramas was sensational, and having seen most of Lake Como from cars, view points and the lake , this gives a different perspective.

The history of the landscape was an excellent feature.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Ein schöner Überblick über den See und die möglichen sportlichen Aktivitäten, wie Wandern, Bergsteigen und MTB fahren. Verbesserungsvorschlag: die englische Tonspur bei der Einführung sollte überarbeitet werden, da diese Übersetzung weder verständlich noch passend zum Video ist. (wir hatten uns noch die italienische Variante angeschaut und dort war die Stimme viel lebhafter und nicht wie ein Roboter) Uns wäre da sogar die italienische Variante mit Untertitel lieber gewesen 🤗. Eine neu vertonte englische & deutsche Tonspur würde für den internationalen Tourismus viel Vorteile bringen.

Besonders hat mir der 360 grad Rundumblick und die 3d Projekt des Sees gefallen. (auch wenn die Projektion wenig Auflösung hatte, aber das kann in Zukunft mit neuer Hardware verbessert werden.) Alles in allem eine schöne Aktivität. Im Anschluss kann man auch ein Wein-Tasting buchen. Highly recommended. A nice overview of the lake and the possible sporting activities, such as hiking, mountaineering, and mountain biking. Suggestion for improvement: the English audio track in the introduction should be revised, as the translation is neither understandable nor appropriate for the video. (We also watched the Italian version, where the voice was much more lively and not robotic.) We would have preferred the Italian version with subtitles 🤗. A newly recorded English and German audio track would be very beneficial for international tourism.

I particularly liked the 360-degree panoramic view and the 3D projection of the lake. (Even though the projection had low resolution, this can be improved in the future with new hardware.) All in all, a nice activity. Afterwards, you can also book a...
