We came here on sunday, 25th of may in 2025. It was a lot quieter than the other beaches in Monterosso. We paid 60€ for 4 people. 4 loungers and two umbrellas included.
The water was clear and perfect for swimming. If you have small kids it would be better to go to the other beach in Monterosso, because here it gets deep fast. The staff was friendly. We had some good drinks and they have snacks like chips. But the focaccia was tasteless. Highly recommend getting this a few meters down the road at the old focaccia place.
The beach consists of pretty comfy sand. We appreciated the changing room and clean toilet. There is an outdoor shower where you can shower with your bathing suit on. There is no shampoo allowed. There are also normal chairs and tables where you can eat and drink. The loungers are towards the water. There is a lifeguard at this beach and he is very carefully paying attention to the people in the water and also makes sure that no boat drives near the swimming zone.
Next to this location on the beach, right behind a rope wich is the border, is an area wich is free of charge where you can lay down in the sand and bring your...

All chairs are fairly close to the bar, shower is nice and the blue umbrellas really block the sun. Cons: the staff really do not care about you or their jobs and it’s almost comical. They want your money and for you to get out of their face. Their drinks are watered down and /or not made correctly. They don’t have the biggest lunch menu.
I am not from here so not sure if this is common but it’s late July and two days in a row here people were getting stung by jellyfish. Of course this is of zero control by the restaurant/ club themselves but just warning people that there is a possibility of jellyfish! The lifeguards had a spray on hand to help but other than that swim at your own risk.
One umbrella and two beds is...
Read moreSlow, lazy and unfriendly service. Social distancing?? What’s that?? Every time we were ordering something we were given bad faces, as if they were making us a favor by spending money at their “restaurant”. We came to this place 3 days in a row, spending around €100 each time, it was just next to our hotel. On the 3rd day we’ve been told that we couldn’t go for a swim as we weren’t renting an umbrella but consuming at their establishment, we didn’t know until then, and we did it the previous 2 days. When we asked why they said it wasn’t law but it was their rule (of course they wanted to make double money from the table and the umbrella) TOTALLY ILLEGAL!!!! Worst service ever and also expensive!! DON’T GO THERE, WORST...
