The worst costumer service. I took two pieces of focaccia to take away and I was waiting inside siting until my coffee is ready. One of the personnel told me with attitude why I’m sitting there and I don’t have the right since I took take away

After all I asked the key for the toilet and they told me to wait outside the WC. I was waiting outside the restroom but nothing so I went back and another waitress with more attitude told me why I didn’t wait , why I ask again etc etc.

Everyone was so rude there even though I was speaking in Italian language ( doesn’t have to do with the touristic profile ) . Sono stata tre giorni a Monterosso, ero stata avvisata che non avrei trovato molta cordialità ligure, ma non era ancora accaduto prima di mettere piede qui dentro. Entro e vedo subito il banco della focaccia e dato che erano le 10, ne volevo un po' per pranzare al mare. Scelgo la focaccia e poi dico alla ragazza che volevo un pezzo di torta al cioccolato da mangiare subito e due caffè, lei mi dice dica tutto in cassa,infila la torta e la focaccia in sacchetti di carta e mi da lo scontrino. Prima di pagare incrocio quella che pare la proprietaria che con aria davvero ignorante tratta male la ragazza al banco per non aver servito bene un tavolo. Le maniere non mi sono sembrate il suo forte, se il buongiorno si vede dal mattino! Le ragazze parlano con un filo di voce e infatti neanche si spiegano bene, la ragazza che mi ha servito ci ha messo due ore solo per tagliare la focaccia gommosa. A mio modesto parere invece di trattare male, dovreste insegnargli a lavorare, sembrano buttate lì. Il peggio comunque deve arrivare: Porgo lo scontrino alla signora anziana in cassa, diciamo che ci sediamo per il caffè sui tavoli interni senza neanche un menù o un minimo di indizio del servizio al tavolo(quello è ben indicato fuori) e il caffè raddoppia il prezzo, ma sto zitta, ci sta, ci serve in meno di un secondo e faccio per dare un morso al dolce, quando la signora mi dice che non lo posso mangiare perché lo dovevo dire e l'avrei pagata di più! Siamo stati li due secondi seduti, davvero un sorso ad un caffè da 4 euro e cmq abbiamo pagato 14 euro totali. Io sono rimasta esterefatta. La ragazza poteva mettere la torta su un piattino, magari qualcuno deve spiegare alle ragazze come si lavora, invece di fare i taccagni e maleducati. DETTO QUESTO LO SCONSIGLIO Queste persone non sanno stare al pubblico e rovinano le tantissime brave che lo fanno con amore e passione. Inoltre la focaccia non vale davvero, salvo il caffè e la torta che cmq non ho consumato dentro, per educazione e per evitare davvero di mandare una persona anziana a quel paese. Bar Focaccia Antonio Di Liberators is very close to where we are staying in Monterosso and pass the restaurant every day and decided to give it a try for lunch. Wow, surprised at how good the focaccia is for such a small bar.

The location is always crowded so they are making fresh sheets of focaccia all day. They have many different varieties and the options change daily. Reasonably priced with a Margherita costing 4 euro for 1 piece.

The flavors are fresh and the focaccia is crispy on the crust and softer in the middle.
