The grounds are beautiful and the room we stayed in was spacious compared to other European hotels. The Villa is right across the street from the beach which was wonderful. However, we ended our 10 day trip in Mondello, and it was kind of a disappointment. Noemi and the staff were fine, but there were plumbing problems in our room, and there is an additional charge for silly things like extra towels or pool towels… The plumbing was the main issue of our stay. First the sink started leaking and creating a puddle in the bathroom. We let Noemi know in the morning, and she attempted to have it serviced but was unable to as it was a holiday. We went on to spend our last day and came back late at night. When we went to shower, the water would not drain and water crept throughout the room. No staff is on the grounds at night, so nothing could be done. My husband and I did our best to let the water slowly drain, push water into the shower and dry it with the towels we had left. Luckily we were checking out that morning, but we’re only compensated by comping the Pringles we ate in the room, and Noemi gifted me a bracelet from the collection the have at the desk and normally sell. If they fix these problems, and find a better way to compensate guests in these situations, then I would recommend this Villa. However, the fact that no one is on the property at night also concerns me security wise. You have to rely on other guests to lock the front gate, otherwise anyone could walk onto the grounds. Overall, I wouldn’t even come to Mondello again as there isn’t much but the beach, but if I did I definitely...
Read moreWe recently spent four wonderful days at Villa Olimpia on Mondello Beach with our friends and family. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, Noemi and Piero, and immediately felt at home.
Villa Olimpia is a true paradise. Its location on Mondello Beach is simply perfect. We only had to cross the street to reach the azure blue sea and white sandy beach.
Our stay was made extra special by the hospitality of Noemi and Pierro. They anticipated our every need and made sure we lacked nothing. Whether it was recommendations for restaurants, food, drinks, or transfers, they were always there to assist us. Their dedication to the guests' well-being was superb.
The villa itself was tastefully decorated and provided all the comforts one could wish for. The rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor area with the pool was another highlight.
The breakfast was also first-class, and every morning we could start the day with a delicious meal by the pool.
If you are looking for a dreamy accommodation in Mondello, run by warm-hearted hosts, then Villa Olimpia is the perfect choice. We wholeheartedly recommend it!

Read moreOur room was fine with a nice sea view. However the overall experience was bizarre. This is not a hotel and not even sure I would class as a B&B. It’s rooms that are managed predominantly by a girl called Neomi. As per previous review towels changed every 3 days you need to pay 3euro for hand 4euro for bath if u need changed more frequently. We had to ask for toilet paper as were given 3 rolls at outset but needed more. We had to ask for body wash as this wasn’t replenished each day. (I did have my own but had ran out as last day of 18day trip). I asked about late check out. Neomi did not understand. Said I would have to book another night. At 260euro a night did not seem worth it. Check out is 10am and as our flight was not till 10.30pm we left our cases and spent day in Palermo. However be aware on return to collect cases there is no toilet you can use and no changing facilities. We stayed in 5 other accommodations during our Italy trip all of which I would return to. However I would not return here nor would...
