I want to start with saying that me and my family have all worked in the food industry and understand the stress that servers experience. We were really excited to try this place, especially the pasta. Unfortunately, my brother ordered a “white and squid ink” pasta and received a completely different pasta, shown in first the picture. When we asked our waiter if that was the squid ink she said yes, it took us asking another waitress and showing her another picture from the reviews of the squid ink pasta for her to offer that my brother order something else. When he did, it took another 30 min to come out. At this point we felt frustrated and wanted to leave and kindly asked for a refund or partial compensation of his meal. Despite us trying to be respectful, our waitress walked away with the replacement meal and yelled at us “you’re paying for this by the way” in front of the restaurant. On top of this, the gnocchi that I received was good, but a very small portion that seemed to have very little to no mullets as described in the menu. The staff said that the mullet was actually grated over top of the pasta and that’s why it was very subtle; this seems like something that should be mentioned on the menu. The coperto was expensive (3 euros per person) and we didn’t receive any apologies or compensation for the unfortunate experience. The atmosphere and the lasagna were good but yelling at paying customers who are kindly asking to receive the service and meal that they paid for is not ok. We would have been much more understanding if our waitress had been honest that the original meal was not the squid ink pasta or had apologized when she did recognize the error, but instead we were yelled at and embarrassed in front of other...

JUST WOW! This was by far my most favourite spot to have dinner. The ambience and setting is speechless, and their food matches. We came here the first night we arrived without a reservation and they were just opening (7pm). We were greeted very quickly and sat promptly. I had the bacon-wrapped pork and my wife had the gnocchi, washed down with their homemade tiramisu, we couldn’t stop talking about it after.

So much so, that we came back 2 days later for another round, they were extremely busy this time, but we waited, even after the waitress advising it may be a while as again, no reservation. To our delight, we waited 15-20 mins and sat at a table. We had the same, except for nonnas meatballs to start (hungry), which were also delish!

Don’t miss out on...

By far the rudest staff I have ever encountered. If you want to share a pizza think again because such an abhorrent request is met with "no can’t do that and, my house my rules". This place has zero idea about basic hospitality principles and how to make people feel welcome. Don’t just take my word for it as they’re many reviews stating the same. The food looked very average although we didn’t get to try because we left the restaurant with the owner yelling at us infront of their guests. I suggest eating on the main square as it is mich nicer. Although, if you choose to go there - ask to share a plate and enjoy the...

Such a hidden gem of a wine bar and restaurant - even more so as it is open at 18 h for dinner on concert evenings (start at 20 h) 😀. The wine selection is very good, representing most of IT. The food is not your standard heavy IT but really good Italian cooking that is modern in its simplicity and of high quality. Most of all is the quiet location off the Duomo plaza in a very old building with outdoor seating for wine tasting on the Passage way OR a large table on the terrace out back that is like being in your own private garden room 👏. Will definitely return if not for food, a bottle (or two) of wine.

AVOID THIS PLACE , I have a place in Ravello and visit every year and this was one of the worst experiences i have had -Took over an hour for anything other then bread to turn up -Bread came in a paper bag with no oil or balsamic vinegar - first course was rock hard bread with a microscopic portion of tomato sauce - pasta was beyond al dentĂ© , nearly cracked a tooth (slight exaggeration) and sauce was far to sweet with no salt - meatballs bang average would not reccomend Over 100€ for two people and both very disappointed
