If I could give negative stars I would. This school does little to nothing to help students. They are constantly telling you no when asking for help with anything or act like they are completely unable to make accommodations to people’s needs. They are unnecessarily rigid and strict about arbitrary things. You do not get your money’s worth at this school at all. If you live in housing, be prepared to not know where you live until you get their move in day and no one can help you move in. If you have to store your stuff between the semesters (you have to change housing every semester) be prepared to fit everything you have in 2 suitcases or boxes which you have to carry yourself to their office. They dont provide carts or assistance and tell you it’s your problem. They have terrible communication and wait until the last minute for important correspondence. The professors are completely anal about students using their computers to take notes and act like we are in the 1900s and still have to use pen and paper. The school expects the most from it’s students and gives little in return. Save your money go...
Read moreI often say that I never imagined that I could genuinely joy in an educational environment, I enjoyed academics of school but nothing else, until John Cabot University (JCU). What JCU provided me was care and reciprocation. Education isn't just about the actual academic material it's about practice and application but moreover about a conducive environment. JCU has cultivated a space that is warm, caring, inclusive and dedicated to improvement. I've found that I actually remember all that I studied and I remember the lessons I learned not just from my Professors but also my classmates. There's also the charm of being able to find contentedness in the classes, what you learn in Italian connects to English or Communications. Education feels holistic. John Cabot provides a space for academic and personal growth but not in a sense that you're bombarded with it, it's not confrontational or blatant, rather it takes introspection to notice how far you've come. It's one of the most beautiful experiences I have lived and continue to...
Read moreJohn Cabot University was the key that opened many doors such as: life experiences, internships and great friendships. I have been studying at JCU in Rome for two years now, I was born and raised in Sicily but I lived in the States for a year where I finished my high school, right after I decided to pursue my education in an American University and that's how I found JCU, honestly I could not have wished for something better. Thanks to the Career Service Center I got an internship at the American Embassy of Rome, which is truly changing my life, especially since my biggest dream is being a diplomat. Professors are very competent, always available and open for discussion. I think I'll remember most of my lectures for life because professors at JCU have something special, they are "humans" and really get you. Moreover, John Cabot is where I met people from all over the world, that showed me how to look at the world from different points of view. I could not have wished to study in any other place, if not, in the...
