We came here on a food tour and loved it. So many options and a variety of both vendors and types of goods. Purchased some excellent food here, and the fruit we picked up was extremely delicious and fresh....much better than we are used to or expected. Our only regret was that we didn't come here sooner in our trip, as we would have definitely come back again.

Great market to visit for fresh fruit and vegetables and fish, or just to have a look. Not the biggest, but worth looking if you are nearby. They sell small packs of peperoncino chillis for 1 euro, seems a popular small medium hot chilli full of seeds. Will grow some of these next year now. Does get busy, so remember these people are trying to make a living

Great place to grab some food for a pic nic while you visit the Vatican. For a meet and cheese sandwich, you can go to this shop called Bonne Bouche. They have a nice choice of Italian cheese and ham, don't hesitate to try the unknown!
