We didn’t had a very pleasant experience in this restaurant. When we arrived, around 12:30 a.m., it was full and we had to wait for some 20 minutes. Decided to wait since we had good expectations given the rating the restaurant has. The problem started just as we were assigned to a table, that was cramped in a corner, centimeters away from the table on the side… We asked for another, since I wasn’t able to pass to my side. It seems that they tried to fit about 20 tables in a place that could hold only 10. Then we ordered the food. The pasta options were simple, but the prices were very good. I guess they are better at pizzas since they advertise their selves as a Pizzeria, because the pasta was very ordinary. I asked a gnocchi with pomodoro sauce, but it was so simple it looked like they just opened a tomato sauce can and poured in the pasta. My fiancée asked for a lasagna, and it had no taste at all, just like a frozen one. (The plates in the photos are untouched, they arrived as is). We asked for a glass of wine that was supposed to be 150 ml, but definitely wasn’t (check photo). The service in an overall was bad, the waiter seemed very rude and ignored us sometimes, but I understand that the place was full. The ambient, apart from the heaped tables, was very noisy. The bathroom was dirty. In the menu is explicit that each person must consume at least one plate, and there is also €1,00 per person for the service, which in the circumstances that we encountered, was basically a theft. There are many good options in the region, this is one to avoid.

After a full morning of walking the Vatican Museum and the St. Peter’s Basilica- we were in need of a good comfort meal for lunch and found this place! And let me tell you it definitely hit the spot!!! Seating: we went around 2pm and it was busy but we’re seated so quickly and right away! :) everyone was so so friendly walking in too! Menu: so many options from starters to main course to dessert but what I really liked about this place is that it had a section in their menu where they list the Top most known Italian dishes made and ordered. Food: AMAZING. Husband was craving for some good Italian pizza - he got the mushrooms with cheese and sausage. And we absolutely loved it! Yes I said WE because I just HAD to try the thinly sliced pizza with the crunchy Italian crust!!! I however was craving for some good authentic Italian spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered the meatballs with spaghetti requested to be mixed in with it as they don’t originally have it as a dish. And again YES we loved it so much and it definitely satisfied the cravings! Drinks: Italian hack for you visitors we learned quickly to just simply order the HOUSE WINE! As it is fairly affordable and will definitely hit the spot for that good wine! Overall experience was 10/10. Very fast customer service, very friendly and delicious food!!! To add to that is the cozy vibes and good place to just relax after a long morning of walking. Thank you La Vittoria for the wonderful experience! :)

After visiting the Vatican we wanted to stay local and have a meal away from the busy crowd. The food we had was very good. My partner and I had a pasta dish each and it was great. Probably some of the best pasta dishes we had in Rome and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend. The only disappointment we had was with the service by one of the wait staff. Upon arrival, we sat at a table for two available on the outside which was right next to the restaurant entrance. Whilst not ideal we decided it was fine and looked forward to some good food. Shortly after some tables became available and we asked if we could move just because we preferred to sit away from the entrance. We hadn’t placed our order yet so we thought it would be an easy thing to do. The waiter made a ‘face’ and said “it’s the same thing” as if to imply it made no difference to move. He then walked off and mumbled to his coworker which made us feel uncomfortable and ruined the initial excitement towards our meal. Not long after that the waiter split some tables and a table for 2 sat unoccupied for almost the entire time we were there. Whilst the food was really good, the service from the waiter was disappointing. Notwithstanding this, I would recommend the pasta at this restaurant.

I went there with my girlfriend and honestly the food was the best part, like the pasta I got with seafood was super fresh, sauce tasted like someone made it at home, I almost finished the plate too fast. She had pizza, crust thin and with that burned edge a bit, I like that, the cheese was melting nice, not heavy at all. The waiter was kind, he told us about some specials, I don’t even remember all, but he also said about a local wine and it really worked good with the pasta. Inside it was cozy, warm lights, not too loud, just people talking around, gave a nice alive feeling. Prices, well, not the cheapest, but with the quality and so close to center, I think fair, I didn’t leave angry or with that feeling of being robbed. I would go again, maybe for some meat dish, saw one passing to other table, looked very good actually.

Food was really nice, pasta full of flavor, maybe a bit too salty for me but I still liked it. Pizza thin crust, little char on edge, I already said it but really that makes it tasty, I repeat it because I liked it. The staff was ok, not perfect, the guy had a blue shirt, looked a bit in a hurry but still smiled, so that counts. The atmosphere was cozy, I liked the lights, felt warm but not sleepy, I hate when it’s too dark. Prices, yeah, not cheap, but you are in center, so what do you expect, could be worse. We left full and happy, that’s what...
