Museo Lavazza is one of the most interactive and well-organised museums that I have ever seen. And the cost was just 8 euros per person. The museum starts with the history of the factory, then it continues with the history of beans and the places they come from. You have new technology all the time in order to approach the information in the best way possible. There is also a very nice part with the advertising that they made throughout the years and you can take pictures and send to your e-mail for free on their special places. Taking pictures with the phone or camera is also allowed in all the museum. At the end, there is the surprise tasting of coffee, which is included in the price of the entrance. Make sure that you buy some coffee from the store after your visit. They sell special selections of coffee that you find only there and no other else in Turin! For only 3,39 euro, I bought the green Arabica with a parrot on the package, which is my favourite every day coffee! Make sure that you book in advance. On Monday and on Tuesday, it is closed. Even if they don’t sell online tickets for the days that you want, it is worth to go there, because there are always tickets available at the desk or at least you can buy a delicious coffee. :)

It's an interesting and interactive museum. There's no need for a guide since everything is touch on screens or video displays. There's a nice area for spots and commercial sets where you can produce your own and get the pictures emailed to you as you exit, quite fun. There's a "degustazione" of TWO of their products, but you have to choose one. What I didn't like was the reception area. There were two young ladies, not very welcoming but efficient, I guess. They requested a form of ID, and in return, they gave us an empty coffee cup that we later discovered was the one activating the different educational interacative media large portion of the museum- thank youuuu.

A museum for the coffee-lover but also for those interested in the history of a pioneering Italian entrepreneur. The exhibition is roughly made up of three main parts: the business endeavour of Luigi Lavazza, the coffee-making process from cradle to grave, and displays of Lavazza merchandise, ads and strategic sponsorships throughout the history. Very little is said about coffe-drinking as a social phenomenon and the perspectives are clearly the company's. However, it is all in all a worthy homage to an iconic Italian institution and I felt quite involved in the exhibition. Obviously, you get the chance to end it with an espresso. Finally, the shop is also stuffed.

I wasn't sure about a museum dedicated to coffee but I would definitely recommend a visit. At the ticket office you receive an espresso coffee cup attached to a lanyard. This is actually an electronic device which when placed on coffee cup icons dotted around the museum, provides the visitor with information. The tour takes you from the start of the company in 1895 through to the latest developments including Lavazza's support for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals which can be found in the form of murals specially commissioned around the city. And at the end of the tour, you get a free cup of coffee, Lavazza of course!

Very nice experience! We did not know what to expect, but it definitely was an amazing tour in the world of Luigi Lavazza: from his first steps into the business to the current state of the brand, you won't get bored. The production of the coffee section was particularly interesting, as we learned a lot about how coffee is cultivated, categorized and selected to meet the quality criteria of the company (nice to read about what quality criteria for coffee is). As stated in the beginning, it was an amazing visit and we also bought some specific Lavazza memorabilia from the museum store!

Really good experience and a definite must see for any avid coffee lover. The experience is a captivating and informative with interactions along the way guiding you through: The History of the Lavazza brand Coffee Making Process (bean to cup) Artistic Ad Campaigns Sporting Partnerships The tour is capped off by a few fun photo captures and a cup of your preferred Lavazza blend. For just €10, it's definitely value for money and should take about 90-120mins to get through a fairly thorough tour.
